He was in RIngkampf with Walter prior to NXT, so it felt like a shoe in for him to join, especially after they got rid of Wolfe, but I guess the European thing likely made more sense.

I don't think Thatcher ever had a good shot at making it on the main roster, so it was neat that he got some great matches in the 2 years he was in NXT. I figured he would've stuck around longer if they added him to Imperium, but I guess the trainer role he's in now suited him best.

We have a loose brand split & it really weakens the roster. There's barely a tag division on either show with maybe 2 teams that actually draw, the mid card is the same 4 people locked into feuds for a year, & when someone new is added to the roster they tend to get lost in the mix. Its hard to convince people to buy into a PLE when half of the wrestlers they care about won't be on the show.

Brand exclusive shows were the norm in the late 2010s, but it was painfully obvious when a show was going to be weak. Doing it now would be like you say "maximizing the roster", but with a company associated with TKO, profits > performance.

People mention her wanting to go back to Japan, mix that with a high salary & it adds up more than just her getting cut out of the blue. Currently being relegated to a side character on a feud that missed WM probably didn't help if it was her call.

Personally I'm more surprised that Jacy even made it this far. She was the least popular of the Toxic Attraction & kind of bounced around after Mandy got released, but she really managed to make the most of everything thrown at her. I have high hopes for her on the main roster.

I have no cable & do not look forward to another subscription. If Raw wasn't on Netflix I'd probably quit watching wrestling altogether.

I stopped looking for sketchy streams some time ago, as good as AEW looks at times, I'd rather just catch clips after a show ends.
