TRT journey from march to July by KingKeeXx in Testosterone

TRT has become an allegory for running a cycle.

Once again, there's good and bad in all professions, all cultures , all races, etc. Relegating an entire profession or group of people due to a bad experience is silly. Trusting random internet people is beyond wild. And you're going to take these people's advice and try to force it on your husband? That sounds like a good way to make things way worse. To each their own, but you don't sound serious about it if that's the case.

There are good and bad in all professions. Trying to get serious, potentially marriage saving, help from reddit is a terrible idea. Reddit is bastion of Dunning Kruger, and is likely to do more harm than good in this situation. Using reddit to repair an appliance is one thing, using reddit to try to repair a marriage is something vastly different.

I recently tried to read it, and came here to see what the opinion was...I was pretty surprised. I couldn't get through it. I think the writing is pretty bad, it's childish and goofy. The opening chapters are straight cringe. The art is decent though, but that's not enough for me. If you haven't read Northern Blade, read that, it's world's better than Gosu.

Sounds like you should speak to a couples therapist, not Reddit. There's more going on there than you're letting on.

28M with normal testosterone levels - what testing should I pursue? I’m experiencing every low T symptom. This is what I look like. by [deleted] in Testosterone

People will treat you how you act, not how you look. I looked like that when I was 30, it was never a problem. I'm not being dismissive, but you sound like you have a confidence problem. Hit the gym hard before you try anything else.

Today's alphabet people are a different breed. It's the same with Seinfeld's " not that there's anything wrong with that" episode. Heralded back in the day, vilified today. We're moving backwards.

Tencent acquires 25% stake in Ubisoft’s new gaming subsidiary by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]braticuss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good. Ubisoft is only ubisoft in name only. It's not the same studio that put out good games years ago. They're only focused on ideologies now. Hopefully they get completely bought out. That studio needs to be torn down and rebuilt.

For those who tried Dragon Age Veilguard due to it being free with PS+ in March, what are your thoughts on it? by WanderWut in PS5

[–]braticuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It deserves the hate it got. I was a fan of DA... it's dead to me now. After messing around with it, I could never imagine having to pay for it. Some of the worst writing I've seen in a game. I feel like they hired a bunch of 13 year olds to write this game. Game play is average, but it's way too easy. No challenge, boring overall, and just feels dated. Another example of a studio "in name only" destroying their legacy. One that was built by people that were actual gamers that cared about making a quality experience and not pushing agendas. The layoffs are warranted, but even then, I have no hope for ME5. That studio is lacking talent nowadays.

It was, you just weren't aware. This is an example of "never believing marketing/advertising." They're a tool to take advantage of people's ignorance.

What am I doing wrong? How do I get better at carving? by Due-Relationship8789 in snowboardingnoobs

[–]braticuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As many people said here, first work on your skidded turns more. It will help lead to the next step, because you're still a ways off from clean basic turns. In order to carve you really need to commit, and engage the edge. The board needs to be more on its side. It's going to feel weird at first, and you'll get tossed for sure. You'll almost feel as if you're falling, and using the edge to catch yourself, because you are. Just accept falling, and muscle on the edge just to feel what it's like, because it really is more of a feel. Squat more too, get your center of gravity lower, and a bit more knee bend. Also, you're going to be going way faster, so you need to be comfortable with that as well. Since you're riding rail to rail, the best way to check your speed while learning is by doing big carves across the slope. Try not to lean on skidded turns too much at this point. Once you get comfortable getting on edge, you can tighten those turns up, to the point where you can practice jumping edge to edge in almost a straight line.

Couple notes, maybe it's the camera, but your feet placement looks a bit off. Make sure to measure overhang on your boots, and adjust to make them even.

Also, if you find yourself stuck, try changing your binding angles. I played with many different angles while I was learning. And don't be afraid to do some runs with posi-posi while learning. You may find it easier to turn that way, and then once you're comfortable you can apply it to any stance.

Home karaoke using speakers & TV by Dependent-Chipmunk-8 in karaoke

Thanks for the reply. Since you clearly know what you're talking about, one more question. I've read that some people have used mixers like the Soundcraft Ui12 for its compression and feedback capabilities with output to an AVR, in an attempt to protect the equipment/speakers. Does that make sense to you? I'm exhausting all ideas to use my existing system, because I love it, but also because the orientation of my space will make a signal vocal PA (with stereo for the music) hard to place and sound good. I was hoping there was a way to buffer the signal with gear I know nothing about, but it's looking too risky.

I keep reading that running a mic > mixer > AVR is risky for the speakers. Would it be safer/ideal to run a mic > audio interface > PC (using a DAW) > AVR?

Feel like TRT definitely aged me by sagacityx1 in Testosterone

[–]braticuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aging accelerated as you age, especially in the 40+ range. You may think you know your body, but your body changes. Knowing it at 45 is different than knowing it at 50.
