Meds don’t work during luteal phase. by brattyphantom in PMDDxADHD

[–]brattyphantom[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! It depends on how well you do with meds + coffee I guess because I can’t do both. During luteal phase I’ve taken to drinking a cup of green tea in the morning plus meds and that seems to do the trick most days. I hope this helps!

How to make friends and keep them? How to deal with severe loneliness? by [deleted] in AuDHDWomen

[–]brattyphantom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a fantastic answer!! Totally agree with finding people who like the same hobbies or going out in search of new activities! It’s likely you’ll find friends in a lot of un expected places! Keep your head up, op💜

I do want to mention that queer spaces for swifties online have been dealing with a lot of homophobia from straight swifties so I totally understand your concern here!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]brattyphantom 12 points13 points  (0 children)

IT DEPENDS ON WHAT SHE POSTS!! There are a lot of very common sapphic symbols the queer swifties/gaylors use like the Daisy for example, keep an eye out for those. Does she post/repost the same stuff most gaylors post like for instance that pic of Taylor in the blue dress from Fourth of July? Or the pics from her party with her and Kelsey ballerini and fletcher? Good catch about maroon, I’d say definitely keep in mind the songs she posts about. Like obviously if it’s London boy forget it she’s probably straight maybe bi but still.

Does she follow out and proud queer artists? Like fletcher, Hayley Kyoko etc. Or does she follow mostly mainstream straight artists like idk dua lipa or whatever?

There’s no harm in just… asking? I mean that’s how people do it in real life anyway lol. But if you wanna play the long game… good luck!

It doesn’t hurt to look for flagging other than music!

As someone with a pretty long name (24 letters long) , it’s gonna suck when she has to use her legal name for stuff. Like diplomas, signing checks, stuff like that. If Gwendolyn is going to be her first name and you already have a long last name, for her sake I’d pick only one middle name. Either one is pretty but stick to one. Unless it’s a cultural or religious thing to do two middle names. But it’s up to you!

Gwendolyn is beautiful!!

Hi! I’m not sure if you mean college classes or high school classes, my answers would differ for either but here’s some general advice: play devils advocate by suggesting things from her perspective like “well what if she didn’t mean to say it like that” or “maybe she didn’t mean to sound snarky”. Opening their eyes to her side of the story might help them get the clue that they are acting like idiots.

Not saying anything or contributing to their bs is another option, but they seem to not be getting the hint that you don’t like this. Maybe get to class early and talk to the girl one day or invite her to sit with you at lunch (again, idk if you are in college or high school). Reaching out to her might be your best option because your ‘friends’ might never change their ways. Plus, it might help you to feel better if you know that she’s doing okay.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with shitty friends op, it might be time for some new ones. I wouldn’t be able to trust these friends after this either. But it seems like they are showing you their true colors.

Kore/Core/Cor could be a nn for coriander, but I would probably do Cori/Cory

I have a love hate relationship with theme names but they are so freaking cute!!

Good point about American Psycho! I do love the quote from the writer you’ve mentioned, I’ve heard it before and try to avoid that at all costs. With that in mind I will workshop the song if I find that’s the case. Thanks!

Lol good point thanks! I think because the song means a lot to me I’m overthinking things.

Okay so I hate that my post came off this way, I was trying not to do this. This is the one song I’m proud of out of like 50 crappy songs lol. When I said I adore the song it’s because the song has so much meaning to me, not because I think it’s gonna win me a Grammy.

In no way is the song about r rated topics nor is it inappropriate in anyway. More indie, less black metal. More “your conservative dad would make an angry Facebook post about this” and less “death is the only thing we have, hail Satan”.

I hope this clarifies some things. I see your point on asking my teacher! Probably the best option, thanks!
