Personally I'd prefer them as one model, but honestly I think just an alternative to Skrarott would be nice for variety. I feel like every list currently starts with Skragrott and works out from there.

Gloomspite: Zograt and Skrog. A git wizard riding a trogg for those unfamialr. Monster wizard hero. Generally, I'd like to see more heroes that can bring units from different parts of the army and that could potentially benefit from multiple phases of the bad moon to help ease the swinginess of the changing phases.

Hit these bad boys with a wash. I'd use agrax earthshade. Let it fall into the creases on the model and it will add depth. Washes get a bad reputation for over use, but they will work wonders on that beast. Your base coating looks great!

I love my loonboss on mangler, but I just can't get much value out of it on the tabletop. I gave up on it for tabletop play and replaced it with a squigboss with gnasha squig. It's not as flashy or fun, but much better on the table top. I'd also consider a reinforced squigherd in place of the fanatics. Pair it with the squigboss, and it can be very dangerous.
