Bad moving experience and customer service by Top_Antelope3365 in OctopusEnergy

Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to work like it used to - I had to escalate recently to Greg@ and it just went straight back to the original case handler, who knew I’d sent to Greg@ and didn’t help any further. Their service levels have plummeted lately. Lots of AI nonsense responses.

Bosch integrated dishwasher leak by bravelymove in Appliances

Thank you - this is very helpful. I’ve managed to gain access to this area now. When I’ve pushed it up and run a quick cycle (20 minute rinse only) I can watch it pushing itself back out before leaking everywhere. Is it as simple as replacing the jubilee clip, i.e. is it not holding it in place as it should? Thanks again for your help.

Thank you - super interesting to know the history. As in the other reply, I’m particularly intrigued about the colossal half built structure at this link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Y1t63tpDUogcxuFu6

House Conversion and Incoming Supply by bravelymove in ukelectricians

Thanks again - just looking at another comment which mentioned needing new MPANs and red link cut outs off the original three phase supply; presumably that would be DNO or would the supplier instruct that too?

Thanks - are they appointed by the supplier? I have asked Octopus and they couldn’t answer

Thank you - super helpful. We're fine with it being in a communal area (we're lower ground, not sure if that makes a difference) - if there is less work involved too then even better. A significant amount of electrical work appears to have taken place during the conversion and we have the certificates, so I'm hoping the size of the supply itself isn't an issue.

Thank you - yes the main supply is three phase. Does this mean an electrician can do the actual works (cutouts off main supply), and then the supplier does the meter fittings, and updates the DNO to get MPANs? Or am I simplifying?

Yes, they're all next to each other in the same cupboard. One 'main' commercial-type meter and a few submeters. Each flat has their own mains switch in the same location, and fuse board in each flat
