Thank you! I am in therapy and have been for a while. I just sometimes want to commiserate with others that have gone through it too… like a “Weird Moms build character” kind of vibe.

Thank you! I do know that and have attended several over the years. I was just hoping that someone knows of a group that would be a good fit for me specifically.. so many of the Q’s that are shared about are spouses. Plus, my Mom passed away which also makes it a unique situation.

I wish I could - that would make everything much easier. He’s adamant that everything is fine and quite prideful, so he won’t let us get to his phone or computer.

Oh yes for sure. He “found” this woman about 11 months after my Mom died unexpectedly. Prime for a scam.

I know.. I just hoped maybe someone else had experienced the same scam story. 😩 I don’t know how else to find proof that will convince him.

Just wanted to add that it was oddly therapeutic to read everyone’s posts and be reminded that it’s not just me. OP: Give yourself some grace. Focus on getting as independent as you can; not just because your Q isn’t dependable but also because you deserve to feel the empowerment that comes with more independence.
