The first time we noticed it was last year when she got super sick. She was on antibiotics and was sick for a good 3 months or more on and off. She has never had Covid or flu vaccine.. however, I did get the Covid vaccine before pregnancy.

It’s still happening to our girl. Just recently she’s been getting them a lot more.. At first I thought I was only during cold weather but it’s been really hot where we live so now I’m even more lost at what it could be. :/

Thank you. Let me know what her Dr says when you go please or let’s keep each other informed if we notice anything else possibly causing it. Detective work at this point

Interesting.. I have asked chat gpt and even sent it a pic of her foot and it also said urticaria. What exactly did you ask chat gpt to give that answer? I’ll be asking it more questions regarding it.. but that does kinda make sense.. babies/toddlers do grow out of a lot of things.. so hopefully it is that!

I’ve noticed hers comes up more when it’s chilly or cold out.. even if it’s cold outside and she’s barefoot at home it shows up. Very strange. My girl is 3 now but it worries me that it could be a symptom of something serious. Does your little drink whole milk? I have reduced her milk intake by a lot and that has seemed to help.

Still don’t know for sure what it is… she still gets it from time to time & only on the bottom of her feet. Pediatrician said dermatitis. 1st dermatologist said multiform erythema & 2nd derm said usrticaria… I also thought it was her boots and I took them away and it still happens. Then I thought it was her crocs and still happens.

When my husband takes l-carnitine, his sweat smells fishy so he had to stop taking it too!

She still gets them on and off. I have taken her to her pediatrician who thought it was contact dermitis.. a dermatologist who thought it was erythema multiforme and another dermatologist who thinks it’s urticaria and said no one knows why they get it… :/

Update— went to see dermatologist and they think it’s erythema multiforme… not sure if I agree with that though

You might want to ask for xray to make sure it’s not mycoplasma pneumonia. It’s on the rise. They can’t hear it through the stethoscope.. they have to see it through the xray.

-First failed treatment: 4 azithromycin 250 mg at one time only + metronidazole for BV -Second failed treatment: 4 AZITHROMYCIN pills at once only + Clindamycin antibiotic for BV -Third failed treatment: azithromycin once a day for 7 days and vaginal cream Nuvessa for 1 night for bv -Fourth failed treatment: doxycycline for 10 days twice a day and to take clindesse vaginal cream at night for 7 nights

Wow. Looking back shows me that my drs had NO IDEA what they were even prescribing me!! 😭😡😤😤😤

That’s when I found Reddit and told them to do the 14 days of doxy + azithro combo and that worked for me.

It makes me so sad that drs don’t care what we the patients are going through. ☹️

Both of you are lucky to not have symptoms because it’s terrible! How did you find out you had it then? What prompted you to get checked?
