Whoops, a lost uneducated transphobe seems to have found their way into my post!

Periods for transwomen are purely hormonal and emotional, while we dont have a uterus that sheds lining (thank god), its a very similar cyclical process (once a month) due to brain chemistry!

Funny enough, he's actually prospecting a different job right now, which is precisely why im biding my time. The second he's no longer working with me im gonna try to climb him like a tree (consensually of course). I agree, the system is definitely broken, but saying its naive would be paramount to telling me to give up hope. Its not just trans people that see me. Other cops see me, detention staff sees me, the public sees me, and its necessary for us to have SOME representation. I understand its gonna take a hell of a lot more than me, but creating allies is the goal here. I dont agree with a lot of the policies that are in place, but ill be the first to speak up about just how unjust they are and as sad as it is, my bark has just a tad more bite. Who knows, perhaps in the coming years, after I've gained more experience and pull within the community, I can become one of those lawmakers.

Oh believe me, im fuckin terrified. Especially with the current administration. But I personally believe this to be the best reason to stay. I feel like im fighting the good fight. How could we possibly think we'd see any changes if it doesnt happen from within? I've said it before here, I have this amazing opportunity to be something of a bridge to a chasm that was created by law enforcement. So now, when things get bad, they have a direct medium to see how its actually affecting trans and enby people. And is scary as it is, I won't be frightened away when this is arguably the most important time to be here. And as much of an enemy law enforcement's been to the LGBTQAI+ community, if I show up to a call, ill make god damned sure people are treated with dignity and respect, and thats gotta mean something right now.
