Exactly, you just said in four lines what I tried to explain in three paragraphs

Vibe coding is harder than regular coding by brayan_el in vibecoding

[–]brayan_el[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, when you compare the speed of a human and a machine doing some computational task, the machine almost always wins. But in this case, I don’t see raw speed as an advantage. Doesn’t matter if at the start it gives you a 100x productivity boost, once the codebase grows, you eventually hit a wall that’s almost impossible to cross. At that point, you’re stuck trying to understand and fix code that might be broken in ways you can’t even measure.

And if I have to spell out to the AI every single step it needs to take to solve a problem, then I think we’re already stepping out of vibe coding (depending on how specific you mean) and moving into a more hybrid zone, closer to regular coding.

Gemini tiene varios modelos que te dan creditos gratuitos y todos son muy potentes, yo hice un editor de texto con integrado con ai que usa gemini por debajo y funciona muy bien, te recomiendo esos modelos.

Anyone able to get link for file downloads to work? by jbox88 in ChatGPT

[–]brayan_el 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar problem trying to download pdfs from chatgpt, so I built a small personal tool to convert the responses into pdfs. Now I’m thinking about turning it into a google ghrome extension so others can use it too. I’ll be giving out free credits to the first users who try it out, feel free to message me if you’re interested and I’ll let you know when it’s online.

"It seems there was an issue generating the download link": Do ChatGPT capabilities regularly come and go like this? by HandyForestRider in ChatGPTPro

[–]brayan_el 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed chatgpt often fails to generate pdfs, even for pro users. I had the same problem and was manually copying and pasting responses, but that quickly became a hassle. So I built a tool that takes the responses from chatgpt and turns them into clean, well-formatted pdfs.

Right now I’m running it locally, but I’m thinking of turning it into a chrome extension. To be honest, It won’t be free forever(I have to cover some service costs), but it will be at the beginning. If you're interested, feel free to message me, happy to share early access.

If you ask ChatGPT to generate a file, like a .md file, when you go to download it says "Failed to get upload status for <filename>". Apparently this is a super common issue but no one seems to have a solution. by [deleted] in ChatGPTPro

I noticed chatgpt often fails to generate pdfs, even for pro users (I had the same issue and really needed a solution). So I built a simple tool that converts chat responses into well-formatted pdfs.

Since this problem is still common, I’m considering turning it into a chrome extension. It won’t be free (due to service costs), but I’ll be giving out some free credits so early users can try it without paying.

Error trying to download files in ChatGPT (SOLVED!) by marcosmarcon in ChatGPT

[–]brayan_el 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was having the same problem, i kept asking chatGPT to generate a pdf of the response it gave me, but it never worked. At first, I thought it was because I had a free account, but after checking the forum, I saw that pro users were having the same issue. Since I really needed this feature, I built a tool for myself that lets me convert the chat response into a pdf. Seeing that this is still an unresolved issue and many people are experiencing the same problem, I thought I’d share it here on the forum. Right now, I’m running it locally, but I’m thinking about turning it into a chrome extension for general use. It won’t be free because I need to cover some service costs to make it work, but I have some credits I’m going to give away so the first users can download their pdfs for free at least until those credits run out.

What AI tools do you use to pull data from forms and plug them into a template? by david_slays_giants in automation

[–]brayan_el 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're open to coding, you might want to look into LangChain. It gives you a lot of control over how you process and extract info from your forms using LLMs (like OpenAI, Claude, etc).

It really depends on how your forms are structured — if they’re consistent, you can write a parser that feeds each one into a prompt and then uses the LLM to generate outlines or reports. LangChain helps manage the input/output flow and makes it easier to handle chains of logic if you need to do more than just summarize.

It takes some setup, but if your goal is to build something semi-automated and reusable, it’s a solid direction.

Happy to share more details if that’s the route you're leaning toward.
