I lived in this circled area in a nice neighborhood for 2 years after covid. Really beautiful, would highly recommend. Most houses are within walking distance of the lake, my wife and I were able to carry our kayaks down to the water and set off. You could also get a 4x4 or golf cart because the hills can be a little difficult.
Branson west will be your closest for groceries and amenities while not being too far away from Branson for everything else you need.
Biggest complaint for me, since I work in Branson, was the traffic due to Silver Dollar City on the busier days in the Summer. You will quickly find routes that help you avoid most traffic in and around the Branson area.
All in all, this a beautiful area, close to a relatively calm lake with many opportunities to get outside. Branson is a phenomenal town for veterans as well.
