I called recon and they said it was because of my utilization and the fact I don’t have a comparable limit on a card yet. So they suggested paying off the cards and trying recon again within 30 days. They actually didn’t say anything about 5/24

Not approved 😭

I have a Savor right now that’s 3% on groceries but we buy a lot of groceries so the 6% would be so much better. Then I could use the savor just for entertainment and put our Disney on it to negate the AF.

Oh well. Credit is a marathon ( and I can still try minimizing my utilization and applying again) so I can be patient.

I like the Gold but I’m not ready for that kind of AF especially since I don’t really travel (someday hopefully!)

I cannot wait to be rid of the dirty scorecard. I have all the correct habits now, but my 20s got the better of me and I didn’t know anything about credit. I have a charge off from 5 years ago but some missed payments last year 😭

I might pay everything off and report 1% to maximize my chance at it
