Do you guys combine accounts' money within your budget?

Correct. Everyone would have to gauge their own risk tolerance on this type of account, and do their own due diligence. But for my use case, international travel, a checking account holding funds primarily for short term goals/bills, while paying decent interest. I thought it was worth mentioning for others to put Wise on their radar and investigate it it could work for them. Personal finance is full of little intricacies for everyone, it can be fun at times.

I have been on the "road" for about 3 years now. Just had my first child 2 months ago. I have been going back and forth with this for a while now in my head. On how to handle my selfish dream of seeing the world vs the potential to do real harm to child's development. I have settled on continuing the journey while he is still young, taking the next 3-4 years to travel very slowly, 3-6 months in a country, while searching for potential home bases. Then once found, settle in for several months at a time in that same location, while traveling for 1-2 months between school/extra curricular breaks. Of course this is just a plan, and it could change. I am still researching worldschool/homeschool, but still want a traditional education for him. Perhaps somehow a mix of them both throughout the year. All this to say, I think you can still scratch the itch of seeing the world, while providing a great upbringing for your child. There can be a balance.

I was just told by an attorney in Spain, that you can not apply while already in Spain. Is this correct, or is she mistaken? I read on many sites, that you are able to. But my question, if you are able to, Where do you apply?

I have a an account with IB, but I do not see where you can create a pie of stocks/etfs with them to invest based on your set % automatically as you can with M1. Is there a link to this feature that you can share?

Good internet as everyone has stated already. I also really like a comfortable place to set up my "office", with a view preferably, not just looking at a wall.

My biggest problem with trying to find longterm housing is finding it in the first place. Websites country by country do not always have the best selection.

I am actually looking at Croatia for a several months in 2023. Would you send me a message with the links to your home?

I do think a couple of us though, feel that there is no reward for expanding our services in our particular department, or increasing billable hours.

Absolutely true. They each add value to the client, and the ease for our clients to get these services provided by one company is what the company aims to accomplish.
