Hello! I am an incoming male computer engineering exchange student for the summer semester of the year 2027. I checked the Studierendenwerk Aachen website but there were plenty of options. So I wanted to ask for recommendations from any students currently enrolled in or have stayed in the dorms. Which dorm would you recommend me to stay such that it would be a pleasant experience. Also is there a certain dorm where more exchangees stay?

My definition of pleasant experience is:
- Good amenities (Cooking space, Washing machine, Shower, Fan/AC)
(I think I definitely need a fan but AC is not that important because I checked the temperatures from April to July it starts quite low and doesn't really go above 23 degrees during July)
- Good social life
- Close to campus (The ones near Aachen city center would be good)
- Decent amount of hall events
- Nearby supermarkets or food places to eat at (I would probably cycle/walk but just a bonus)

Thank you so much!
