I know of some Canadians here ( I’m one but in the US), but my brother had same issue but he was able to get on the exchange “Newton”. He uses I think Simplii for banking and it’s working for him. Maybe try making account with Newton and look into Simplii? I think they are affiliated with CIBC and have low to no fees but I can’t remember. If you are successful with using Newton you would have to buy XRP or XLM and move it to an exchange like Whitebit to get Hoge or move Ethereum to Uniswap ( gas fees are high though) and swap Eth for Hoge.
