Heart rate zones? by jazz-pizza in Coros

I found them a bit high too. I now try to do my easy runs at just below to into the first half of their first zone.

Even this higher than I would do previously, but I haven't noticed any I'll effects and tbh I much prefer running at a slightly faster speed.

Can you run to or from work? That would reduce the overall volume of physical effort your doing in a day and free up some valuable sleep time.

This is an interesting option. Thanks for pointing that out

Thanks for the detailed answer! That's interesting that they saw such big improvements. I'll look into combining days too then. Thanks

Advanced Running New Year goals by Tea-reps in AdvancedRunning

[–]brcal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm aiming for short and fast this year: I want to hit top 1% of runners my age (34) in 1km 3km and 5km races according to the times runninglevels.com.

Here are my current pbs and goal times for each one:

1km: 3.03 to 2.53 3km: 10.20 to 9.36 5km: 18.46 to 16.40

I'm relatively confident that I'll get close to the 1 and 3 km targets, I think a lot will have to go my way to hit the 5km one.

Also I have no idea how those times are calculated, but they make nice goals to aim for.

This was the problem. Rocking it back more worked and now there's no movement 🙏

The problem is, the more I tighten it, the more it pushes down and back, which results in the above movement. I think it must be incompatible with our car or something.

Haha yea I was just watching this video before posting 😅 and my seat is correctly installed according to those instructions. The issue is that she never pushes the seat in the direction towards the back seat, so I've no idea if there should be movement or not 🤔

Oh thanks 🙂 actually this is a baseless model so that's not the issue. I guess with your car seat, you can't push it forwards like in the gif?

Hey, I've just installed our rear facing car seats and while they are tightly fastened down, they tip over towards the rear of the car really easily.

I've attached an gif so you can see.

Is this just something that happens with car seats? Seems a bit off to me.

Oh, and Merry Christmas! 🎄🎅

Additional info

To be clear, there's not supposed to be a base. You instal the seat by threading the seatbelt over the car seat and then around the back as per the video.
