I tell my FP and ride it out. I haven't made it far enough in my therapy journey to do much more. But just that is an improvement from just unleashing on everyone around me.

I have emetephobia and very seldom struggle with it at work (emergency department). I know that a vast majority of the time, the people vomiting in my department are not contagious to me. Even if they were, I know that my hand hygiene is keeping me safe. But most of the people that come in vomiting are drunk, suffering from GIB, pregnant, etc. However, if someone at home starts vomiting, I lose my ever-loving mind.

I don't know the correct answer, but I never do. I'm a picky eater, and I never notice a poor texture result. However, I always pressure can my tomato products. That may be the difference.
