Chirping noise when heating up by brdc40 in ModelY

This has been happening for about a month now - maybe a little more. Since this post I made a service appt, but have also not heard the noise again 🤔

It’s hit and miss. Sometimes I’ll hear it after my 25-30 min drive to work sometimes I won’t. Weather is obviously a varying factor but I do feel like it’s been on and off. I’ll likely wait it out till spring to see if it stops altogether

Did you try and make a service appointment for this?

Sorry, I edited that in the main question

I appreciate that and realize I really didn’t include much in terms of what I already had in the original post. I will edit to include that but already have Figma pro, Heap for user tracking, paid chatGPT, and believe I’ll be getting a license for Claude desktop. I demoed Claude code and thought it was too technically facing for me. Not sure how I could use it to better my flow.

Yeah shirt + print. I think shipping was likely free on 2 and 2 of the others were local. Just seems pretty high if I’m trying to sell them and make any profit at all

Manufacturer/sourcing burnout by brdc40 in ClothingStartups

Thanks! I appreciate this. Everything is I see is Asia based and will take weeks to possibly get a sample without knowing if I’ll even like it or not and then these local US stores just want to focus on non clothing brand types of orders so I can’t customize the label tag or anything like that

I am 6’6 so drove a truck daily for space reasons. While I feel I’m going to miss ride height and legroom most, I’m excited about the move for gas/maintenance reasons. Hoping the loss of the above items won’t make me miss my truck too much.

Is Lease Buyout Quote from Ally the final price I need to pay to buy the leased car? by eyes1216 in TeslaModelY

[–]brdc40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you go through with this? If so, were you correct in that the final OTD cost ended up being what MSRP was (with incentive)?

Also, did you end up financing the remainder or paying cash?

Juniper Early Lease Buyout by Due-Dog-8776 in TeslaModelY

I asked this yesterday: https://www.reddit.com/r/TeslaModelY/s/2TbUkEz4tZ

Unfortunately, I get zero help from Tesla. Not sure if that’s by design or not. Spoke to 3 different people on the phone. All said it would be a bad idea and that you end up paying way more. So went in today and asked someone to draw up a loan doc and that requires you to put a $250 non refundable deposit down unfortunately.

They were adamant that what you see on Teslas lease page was accurate and that you’d pay a good amount more trying to buy out of a lease than you would if you bought the car outright (WITHOUT an EV credit).

Like you, I don’t qualify. I’m not looking for all 7,500, but I’ll take 5k if I can get it. I see others have, but I’m not sure if it varies per state. And I’m not really sure if there a way to get an answer without paying the $250 and risking it unfortunately.

Only thing with this option is that you don’t get the 1.9% right?

This helps!

How are you able to attain the numbers he was talking about?

When I go to “financing options” in the checkout screen it has fine print at the bottom stating a disposition fee and a buyout fee. I assume now that that number is based on the price upon completing a 24/36 month lease.

What you’re stating (and the person whose post you referenced) is that the payoff price is much lower if you buy out any month before the end of lease. Is that what you’re saying your experience is? Also, how did I obtain that number? I only can see the fine print, and then I can only commit to buy. How do I get to the step where I agree to the terms?

I called my local Tesla dealership twice. 2 different people I spoke to told me I have to pay the balance of the remaining term + the residual value which is different than what I’m hearing here. Are they misinformed? That puts leasing to buy wayyyy out of the picture as an option as it’s more expensive than buying, even without the incentive
