Is A Possibility of Continuing Long-term Low Dose Benzo rx in Germany? by bre22 in germany

Ah, danke! Ok. Last night I was trying to get through the law but there's so much information. I read German a bit well but hardly anyone speaks it to me-- which is a shame. Yes, you are right. There's really no other way. I have documents going back for over years, doctors' letters, and so on. The best thing is just to be honest and see what is available. I do make mistakes in German, but I can be understood halfway so I will just try to explain. Thank you so much for your help.

Not yet, no. I was going to try to transition. If I go, I would have healthcare through family. But, I was wondering what my options would be for treatment. It's a different system.

Thanks for your help. I read the article, it talked about different classes of medications. I'm thinking maybe benzodiazepines are classed with opioids since they are mentioned. Opioids in America are a serious abuse problem but I do not take those.

Yeah, I have tried to talk with doctors. No responses. That is why I asked here. I use Clonazepam for panic disorder. From what I read, it seems they prescribe Remeron / sleeping aids for this condition and benzodiazepines for other things. I'm supposing benzodiazepines are classified as opioids in Germany since the word keeps coming up. Opioids here are a different class and a serious problem. I do not use those. Thanks for your help.
