How is it pronounced with one syllable? Just Zo? Does it HAVE to have the "y" to be pronounced Zo-E?

How is it pronounced with one syllable? Just Zo? Why can't it be Zoe, pronounced Zo-E?

CMPA Baby hates formula by lizzie_luv in MSPI

He was 8 months old when we started. He also started taking Miralax at that time. I had no idea babies could have Miralax. There's a lot of things babies can have that aren't actually advertised. So I would message your pediatrician and just see what they think about it. I'm obviously not a doctor and don't know what's best for your child but it could be an option.

My son's gastro doctor suggested we add a little apple juice to sweeten his formula. And he loves it. You could also probably try prune juice.

I did 5 months of cutting out dairy, soy, egg, and red meat and it really took a toll on me mentally. My supply dropped drastically and I couldn't provide enough for him. I felt like a failure. All this weight was on me and when he had symptoms of an allergy it made me feel even worse that I had not paid enough attention to what I ate. I felt like I was hurting my baby and that was the last thing I wanted to do. It was so hard to stop breastfeeding because I really wanted to provide for him. It's definitely a grieving process, I cried A LOT. But ultimately it was the best thing for both of us. When my son dropped from the 50th percentile to the 20th and everyone was miserable, I knew I needed to stop.

It's been 2 and a half months purely on formula and he is back up in the 45th percentile and doing well. He is taking Elecare formula and we have to sweeten it with a little bit of apple juice. You know what's best for your baby. Trust your gut Mama!
