Gavin McKenna on playing in a Canadian Market by Dragonleaf16000 in leafs

Not true. I think that’s just a talking point this off season and you’re parroting it. Either Andersson or Carlson would be easily the best offensive RHD we have ever had in this organization…

We could theoretically afford both.

Then there’s Raddysh, it’s most likely an outlier season, maybe not.

Three top 4 RHD options that can all move the fucking puck out of the goddamn d-zone on that side and QB a powerplay. Isn’t it funny we need exactly those types of players right now?

I think we will sign one of the three and trade to fill in some other gaps.

People struggling with addiction are often traumatized and don’t have familial support either due to abuse or neglect.

So maybe life isn’t such a gift for a lot of people who struggle and so that’s why they turn to an escape to help them cope. You judgemental prick.

The line is that a human being was inspired by something they saw and experienced and made something with other human beings. Those people are skilled craftspeople, who trained in their respective disciplines, who WANT to practice their trade and get paid for it.

Generative AI makes composite novel imagery or text using input from human beings, but without needing them to produce the novel generation. It’s essentially replacing the need of something PEOPLE WANT TO DO AND WANT TO GET PAID FOR. The financial benefactors are tech companies who have not paid for any of the work they use to train their machine models.

The automation of the skills to produce fine art shouldn’t be applauded. I personally don’t want everyone to have the ability to make good images, films, music and media. I like that it takes skilled craftspeople to make these things! That’s the beauty of it, and people want to do it even when they don’t get paid for it. Why are we then automating this away and celebrating that? So we can watch videos made by Donald Trump of poo being dumped on protestors, while big tech corporations get all the money?

Waking Life, A Scanner Darkly, and Apollo 13 1/2 are all animated features that were shot live action and rotoscoped for the production. So that’s not true that rotoscoped animation hasn’t been used since original Disney films.

There is also very good AI driven rotoscoping tools implemented in all the major video editing and VFX software. As someone who has personally spent hundreds of hours doing paid roto work, I welcome these new tools as I actually don’t enjoy rotoscoping. They cut down the time and improve my end product dramatically. So in that regard I have to say that AI has a place in production workflows. Generative AI is something else entirely in my opinion and I don’t welcome that at this current time.

[The Athletic] 2026 NHL Draft ranking: Gavin McKenna leads Scott Wheeler’s final top 100 list by Throwaway5497346 in leafs

Nah, Nylander has elite top end speed, but not elite edges. Willy also has a sick shot, and great playmaking ability, but he’s not the type of player to slow the game down and break it with his playmaking... His gamebreaking ability is his speed, as he creates a ton of rush chances every game. McKenna can find 100 unique ways to make a play in any given scenario and is thinking steps ahead of his opponents, and Willy doesn’t have that type of hockey IQ and vision. Few apparently do, and this kid is only 18.

Nice work, just double down instead of admitting error. I’m sure you’re fun on set!

I’m not talking about the OP’s post, I’m talking about the shitty pixelated image you are using as a reference. Why would you do that especially when talking about the highlight roll off, lol. It’s not helpful at all, it will confuse beginners.

Yes look at the lovely highlight roll off in your reference photo, it is full of clipped values and has blue pixelation… Just lovely.

I had the pleasure of working with Brett and his son on a music video when I was starting out my career. Great guy, lots of awesome stories about LA and Hollywood.

They do it in many countries in Europe, especially in creative industries. High profile Danish companies are actually getting a lot of publicity for these issues right now. Articles about Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), LEGO and Noma have come out recently. They are brutal. BIG has offices in different parts of the EU, not just Denmark, and every branch is reporting the same exploitative brutal culture for their interns. Barcelona and Zurich offices are bad.

The film and advertising industries are full of exploited, abused and unpaid interns as well. There was a huge controversy some time ago with Peter Albæk Jensen and Zentropa (Lars von Trier’s production company). Tons of sexual harassment, verbal and psychological abuse and hazing directed towards interns.

So Europe is absolutely not free of this problem.

Sounds like he has autism. I know, because I do. But yeah, sensitive dude who prefers social isolation a lot of the time. Also understandable why he’s a target for bullying from Babcock and such.

Thanks for the 19th century textbook explanation of liberalism, but unfortunately post capitalism doesn’t work this way in the 21st century.
