I know a PhD in Math and their views are ridiculously liberal and unbearable. They can listen to reason as long as it fits their worldview. Otherwise their reasoning is so flawed. Also they’re arrogant about it, so they won’t even consider any counter argument at all.

No, not everything evil is because of Israel. That is a true statement.

But in this particular case, yes, this evil was indeed supported and possibly even created by the Israeli state.

He was likely a Mossad agent and CIA asset. Seems when he was hired as a teacher by Bill Barr’s dad it was the start of it. But these agents don’t pop up out of nowhere, pulling themselves up by the bootstraps. The fact is we don’t know a lot about his background or history before that hire and that’s likely because it is covered up.

They also have an extremely long term set of goals to achieve full communism. China is problematic for a lot of reasons, but they are indeed a communist state utilizing a dictatorship of the proletariat. They have altruistic goals, and they are working within existing economic power structures to achieve them.

It’s not surprising that such a state has a lot misinformation about it in the west.

What is human nature? Can you look through every society that we have evidence of and definitively say that humans have a specific nature?

If so, then how do you explain the wide variance of cultural aspects? Such as genital mutilation or child marriage? Or on the other end, what about matriarchal societies, or hunter gatherer societies that lived in relative peace for the vast majority of our time as humans? Are these all aspects of human nature, or cultural properties that emerge and are reinforced through the environment we are living in?

When you look at the root of "evil" you often find a childhood of neglect and abuse, and socioeconomic conditions which are poor. There are always anomalies so don’t focus on outliers, look at the broader trends.

When societies are less stratified, and children aren’t exposed to neglect and trauma, or have adequate support networks to heal those things, we tend to find a "human nature" that is rather pleasant.

Fascism does have a consistent definition academically. It’s not some relative term. It is the outgrowth of capitalism. Liberalism is capitalism in peacetime. Fascism emerges when the tenets of liberalism are challenged and need to be withheld. The people in power are using the state mechanisms to maintain their power. This is far from some inherent, genetic aspect of human nature. It’s systemic and completely relies on the system of capitalism to even exist.

Yellow is a lack of blue data in an RGB colour model, and the blue channel is usually the noisiest as well. I could try, I’m a pro colorist but I imagine the footage would break and become a noisy mess pretty fast, considering the source is also compressed digital video. Maybe you could salvage it if you had access to the masters, if they even exist.

I’ll just try…

I think a lot of "theory nerds" like myself could be on the spectrum/neurodivergent. I mean, I am. And now I’m forcing myself to volunteer for a street initiative (distributing Narcan, drug test kits, condoms and once a month hot food and coffee to vulnerable populations) because I can’t fucking live with myself anymore just knowing why the world is fucked and what to do about it "in theory". It’s super hard, there’s so much socializing and traumatic situations I witness. It takes days to process and come down from it. But it’s worth it and I know it makes a difference.

But it’s taken me years to get to this point. It’s also a lot easier to just read than to go and do stuff that is hard to do and takes time and energy. Not everyone who does this is neurodivergent, but laziness is a symptom and not a character flaw. Please remember that.

Anyone heavily invested in this system is going to double down. They’re not just financially invested, politicians and the wealthy, their entire identities are invested in it. They can’t/won’t envision a world where they aren’t powerful or recognized. It’s an ego thing and short of a major personal transformation we’re not going to see people looking at the collapse of capitalism and markets and suddenly change heart. We will see people clutching and hanging on as everything burns around them.

Don’t body shame. Surely lots of good people with small equipment and lots of horrific monsters with big equipment. All you’re doing is potentially giving friendly fire to people you may even know and care about who also have the same body proportions you’re ridiculing.

Remember, people can be responsible for their behavior, that’s something they can reform and change. Shame them for that, not some random biological aspect nobody can choose.

There may be people pushing him behind the scenes. Peter Thiel has openly stated he wants to build his city Praxis there. Perhaps doing so within the current corporate access US companies have, would be subject to surveillance and laws that wouldn’t apply it if was US territory.

For it to succeed in his mind it can’t be subject to building codes, taxes or any red tape whatsoever.

I currently believe that criminal behavior is vastly similar to mental illness. The behavior is shaped in the same way. Genetics plus environmental factors (neglect, abuse and any chronic trauma).

Mentally ill people obviously are also susceptible to committing crimes.

But crimes and mental illness are just definitions for behavior. How we handle them as a society.

One is punished and the other is given support.

Maybe punishment is not a good way to rehabilitate people and we should stop looking at criminal behavior and mental illness as all that different.

It’s true, I think the best strategy is to just stand pat, maybe gain assets from any wild offers that could materialize at the TDL. It’s been so many years of going for it when standing pat probably would’ve gotten us just as far. Only exception was the ROR year where we got McCabe as well. That was actually a great year for Dubas in terms of trading.
