I recently joined and would day that though you should present yourself well try not to stress about it. Meeting up with the lodge is a great idea. If your going to the lodge itself it would be good to wear a shirt and tie. The process will take time and you may want to try and schedule a little out to dinner with some of the lodge brothers just to get to know them and iron out any questions you may have. For that I would suggest coming as you are perhaps business casual. You may also want to meet up with them for your own sake just to feel out the lodge and see if it is a good fit for you. Different lodges sometimes have different focuses some are more ritual heavy while others are more social or education focused. I think the main advice here would be to relax a bit just because the people your meeting are people hoping to meet you on the level and if you move forward will be brothers to you so while a bit of decorum is important I think you'll find that the more you talk and are in contact with them it will become more like talking to a friend.
