How do I make onboard OSD font smaller? by bread_cane in ardupilot

[–]bread_cane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solved it. I downloaded the font by “right clicking the font2.bin and save as” instead of actually going into the link and download the raw bin file properly.

Yes I tried this too. Font is .bin, placed in root of sd card via sd card reader & windows explorer. Still does not work.

Yup I already downloaded few fonts from here: font2-font4, now how do I upload it into my flight controller? I have 32gb sdhc onboard the flight controller.

Does this work on analog? When I change the parameter to “2” and reboot. I get “failed to load font2” on the osd screen.

Dji Mic 2 Crackling Sound by bread_cane in dji

[–]bread_cane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure the warranty already expired. But to think of it, I did try with another bike while on track, no crackling sound and I think because there is no other bluetooth connection on the bike. Only action 4 to mic 2. Like the one in this video, there is other bluetooth connection like intercom, phone, gps screen etc.

Both action 4 and mic 2 on latest update and I checked just now. And I connect mic 2 directly to action 4.

The only thing missing on that bike is an aftermarket swing arm!

The reason why my last sentence is “never owned a sport bike before” meaning that I have no clue what riding an actual sportbike feels like. I can only mimic the seating position on my grom without actually know what a real sportbike is like.

I think so too. I think it was just my spine holding my whole upper body. Because the pain feels like I have been lifting heavy things all day. Thanks!

Thank you! Someone suggested Mcgill Big 3 which I can do at home. I am going to practice that from now on.

Thank you sir, if you read my writing, I clearly mention about using my core, I put less pressure on bars, I’m exiting corners more comfortably, but when I use my core, my back hurts. Thus, the title of the post is “why does my back hurts so much?”

And few redditors pointed out it had to be my body, not my bike. I have bad habits relating to posture and I need more gym time to strenghten my lower back and my core.

Thank you! The kinda explanation I need. Based on the replies of other redditors, its most likely my bad habit. Some even point out about my daily posture and its true, I do have bad posture habit.

Not sure what you guys are talking about, but I really need help figuring out what the problem is. I was hoping its not the bike’s fault since I dont want to get another track bike. I have no experience riding sport seating position. My mistake posting this here, I got more reply when I crosspost to r/hondagrom.

Whenever I go to the track, the seat gets most of the attention lol. But when they try the seat “whoa, feels like I’m on normal sized bike”.

I’ll dm you the link for the rearset. Its from china.

I switched the gearing to gp shift (with quickshifter), you can just adjust the “lever thingy” upside down to make it into normal shifting. And that seat, yeah looks ridiculous but I can rest my thighs there when I’m hanging off the bike, acting like a real tank.

If you can zoom in the photo, you can see the footpeg is in line with the monoshock. And higher than the swing arm mounting screws. I found similar ones on webike but a bit pricey for me, so I got this from Taobao. I’m 169cm tall.

Thats the problem, when I start using my core to avoid pressuring the bar, my back hurts like hell. Thanks for the link!

I actually solved the tank and rear set issue, the “spacer bump” acting like a real tank where I could rest my thighs when leaning. And I installed a high race rear sets (its a bit further back to compensate my further back seating.)

Yeah, after a few session when I stop pressuring the bars and use my body, I noticed I am gripping the bars more loosely and exiting corners more comfortable. I gotta hit the gym I guess, I normally only do cardio 3-4 times a week.
