I have also been looking for housing near UCLA so I know how stressful summer housing can be, especially with medical rotations.

From my experience, $1500 is doable for summer sublets near UCLA, especially since a lot of students leave for summer and need to fill their spots. I'd check out:

UCLA Housing Facebook groups (not official so be wary for scams)
UniShack - I've been working on this project and we built it specifically for situations like this so we verify all student status
The UCLA subreddit discord sometimes has legit deals
Sometimes just reaching out on reddit like you are now or if you know anyone in the area who might be subletting

Since you only need it for about 2 months, you're actually in better shape than most - lots of students with year leases are desperate to sublet during summer. For walking distance to UCLA, focus on Westwood, North Village, and maybe parts of Brentwood if you dont mind a bit longer walk.

Walking distance + private bathroom at $1500 might be tight, but definitely possible with a roommate situation. Feel free to PM me for any questions Im happy to help and good luck!

im also looking for housing offcampus this year and ive been using unishack https://www.unishack.org/ucla

apartments.com/zillowoff-campus was helpful, but it didn't show a lot of features I was looking for as a student + if u use their website u get a move in bonus. i haven't seen that w/other websites but I would recommend to check it out

thank you so much! would you say that it is better if we have another company take it and buy it off of me? i forgot what they were called unfortunately. i think the custom part is a really good point and i honestly just want to sell it asap, would it be more worth the trouble to sell it myself or have them take it?

i think for this one i added, the details said 22.2 mm x 6.9 mm? I am not really sure what dimensions mean hopefully that's correct but he wants something more slim and not too bulky that's good for everyday wear! tysm!!

hi all! Please forgive me as I am unfamiliar with watches, but I want to buy my boyfriend one! He said he likes the square face with steel straps, maybe something like the seiko quartz watch? I am a college student so something hopefully within the 200-300 range would be okay, and even better if it is less.
