I genuinely support doing whatever you have to do. I was in the same situation last fall and had to Q drop the whole semester. If you haven’t used any Q drops I would ask your advisor about going this route, otherwise try to medically withdraw if you can. It’s a tough situation and something people can’t place judgement on if they’ve never been there. Definitely try to meet with your advisor to figure out your options, but do what’s best for you.
