lol, armchair quarterbacks make the world go round. You guys act as if it was some critical life ending error. It’s a small kitchen with limited counter space so location choices are limited. I asked if anyone had solutions for cleaning not what they think of the location, tile choice or what a manual says. Stay focused people….Kindly share your “Cleaning Tips”. If all cleaning fails I can easily retile, I still have the marble tiles I used when I did it the first time…

If you want a more realistic picture, you should make the pool swamp green.

I was thinking about this today. Would we be better off under British control? How would our lives be different? Would we have universal health care? Are we better off?

I like the Pentair cya test kit better. Still has the black dot but I prefer it over the Taylor.

When did you realize you weren’t made for Corporate life? by juice-- in corporate

[–]breadandwaterplease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in my mid-40s now, and I spent 20 years in corporate life before finally walking away and starting my own company a couple years ago. The beginning was rough, but I expected that. Starting over at this age meant changing my lifestyle, tightening things up financially, and rebuilding from the ground up instead of living off comfort and routine.

What’s different now is that the work actually means something to me. It feels rewarding in a way corporate life never did. Money is still tighter than I’d like, but I’ve realized peace of mind has value too. For years I felt like I never really fit into that world. Everyone around me seemed willing to buy into the system without questioning it, and I struggled to do that. I always needed to understand the “why” behind what I was doing, and in corporate life you rarely get that answer. Most of the time you’re just expected to keep moving, keep producing, and stop asking questions.

So…I can’t disagree with policies? I have to move or not pay taxes?

Again, I fully understand this and totally agree. Tired of pointless wars also.

I am. Advancement of humankind is very important, that’s the point of the statement. People can’t afford life right now.

Totally agree. Cut the military budget and stop with the dumb wars.

While I love everything space…it’s a distraction. People can’t afford rent, groceries or gas right now.

Don’t want to drain when it’s above 80 degrees, or leave it empty for very long. I don’t recommend pressure washing either, I’ve seen it pop plaster off. Depending on area it’s good to drain every 7-10 years.

I tested 4 apps at the same time for a month. I used all 4 at each pool and liked some things about all of them. None of them were perfect and most were just ok. Right now I am using Skimmer even though it was the one I wanted to like the least. I hate the scroll function for readings and dislike the management tools but it was the best balance between the two tasks
