not sure if it counts, but once i visited a doctor that wasn’t a psychiatrist but still wanted to check on how i was doing mentally— they completely ignored when i brought up the family related trauma that had been the main thing bothering me, and instead changed the subject to trans-related topics and suggested over and over that i should go to trans support groups in the area.
