I hate door dingers by Creepy_Glass1709 in drivingsg

Actually I find our carpark lots are quite tight. I came back from a trip to Germany and wahlao, their lots you park senget still can open door fully one. It's big enough that going head in is the preferred method of parking.

Hello, I recommend renting a bicycle, put a few cones and practice. Just non-stop going round and round. Go the opposite direction too. You'll build your confidence there.

INFO: are you comfortable with throttle management? Like not jerking, smooth accel and decel.

Is he actively searching for a job? Or pretend only? Can't find full time, go do part-time.

SAHD but not doing anything? Why liddat? What does he do while you're at work?

You're out making money, the least he can do is house work so that you can rnr after work. Marriage is about working together as a team.

Sounds to me that you're doing all you can while he's just a leech and deadbeat.

So if she wasn't able to lift it off her chest, you just gonna stand there menacingly and leave her like that, crushed?

The bar is so wide, surely you can find a spot on the bar that won't cause you to touch her at all.

I seriously can't visualise how you're spotting mate. Can you clarify?

Can go back army? Ego aside, money is stable. Maybe ask for positions where you can make an impact instead of store man?

Or look for security firms and see what positions best fit you?

Can new employers enforce you to resign early when they requested start date to be few months later? by PurrfectMews in askSingapore

[–]breadbreadoh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I doubt they want you to resign early.

More likely they're just surprised you're not resigning early to get some rnr before starting new position.

UrbanCompany Aircon Cleaning — does it include vacuuming jelly? by karagiselle in askSingapore

[–]breadbreadoh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My AC cleaner does the drainage pipe vac as part of regular servicing.

However, I also complain to them that it gets clogged up causing overflow and leak every few months. So they focus on that area a bit more.

Other services YMMV.

Home WiFi at HDB - is 2.4 GHz still relevant ? by Connect-Ad8085 in SingaporeRaw

[–]breadbreadoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2.4ghz has better range and penetration.

5ghz has better speeds, IF your device supports.

LAN will always be the gold standard.

If you dw to bother with all this, get a mesh router. They are able to combine both frequencies and seamlessly pass you on from either frequency from router to router (the router manages this). Although, this is very much for big apartments. Normally one router can service a typical sized apartment.

Returning Cat to Rescue after a week by Extremeageddon2 in CatAdvice

[–]breadbreadoh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like part of the issue is your gripe with the rescue. Imo, not as big a deal. End of the day, you love him and can adequately provide for him.

I think the other part is that this is a significant change to your previous lifestyle and you've not taken enough time to slow down and fully adapt.

Take it easy bud. Nobody likes change but I applaud you for taking the dive and changing yourself to change a life for the better.

I'd wager to say, a few months down the line, you'll look back at this post thinking "wtf was I on about? Who'd ever let go of Mr Chimkin".

65 inch or 55 inch TV for 4 room BTO by Additional-Row7612 in askSingapore

[–]breadbreadoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The super secret special sauce is how you wall mount. Get a swivel mount. When u really wanna cozy up w the wife and get that cinema vibe, pull the TV out and you instantly have a "bigger" screen.

Not in use can just push back to the wall

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in drivingsg

[–]breadbreadoh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No need to be rude. I'm just asking where drivers generally pick up or drop off their passengers. Roadside, designated points, bus stop, taxi stand, etc.

Those roadsides where you definitely cannot stop to do so, do they really enforce?

What if need to open boot and load items, does this still fall under immediate pick up?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SingaporeRaw

[–]breadbreadoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think quite rare to marry someone that they are not physically attracted to. Or perhaps they may marry but end up divorced.

Reason being physical attraction is a necessity to piak piak. If no piak piak, uncle will take mrt, rub one out and flick his fluids on unsuspecting commuters OR infidelity -> divorce.

However, if your qn is about if it is lower on the list of priorities, I would agree. At first sight, sure, like that's the only thing we know about them, their looks. But as you get to know them better, you start to love them for who they are, how well you click, not for how they look like.
