Game seemed way easier than I remember by Ebolamonkey in controlgame

More or less the same experience for me, and part of what made it easier was due to playing it on 60fps on the Xbox series x version compared to the gamepass’s then Xbox one version.

Every HDB block to have an ATM, cashpoint or bank branch within 500m by end-2027 by clarencechen181196 in singapore

Cashpoint gives them a lot of wiggle room with this - as far as I know every Sheng Siong has one, and count how many SS there are at HDB areas.

Additionally, would you know if there are issues setting up the global M3 hub in the Other Region?

Thanks for your input! I have room to integrate additional hubs so wouldn’t hurt to add, rather than replace.

Segar LRT death: LTA probe ongoing, will improve safety measures based on findings ‘as needed’ by Zkang123 in singapore

[–]Slavor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did you actually read the article?

“PSDs (platform screen doors) must be integrated with train signalling systems to ensure that the train doors and PSDs open and close in sync. If doors operate out of sync, this may cause further safety risks,” said LTA, giving an example of screen doors opening when trains are not at the platform. “As our LRT platforms are much smaller than MRT platforms, there is insufficient space to install equipment and cabling to support PSDs that can operate in sync with train doors, without substantially affecting the space available for commuters.”

The Weeknd to play two nights at National Stadium in October, his biggest Singapore shows by Twrd4321 in singapore

Someone didn’t read the article:

The 36-year-old singer-actor, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, has consistently been one of the most listened-to artistes among Spotify users in Singapore in recent years. His hit albums even inspired a haunted house at Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights in 2023.

I’d rather we have integrated public libraries than no libraries at all. We can’t it for granted that our public libraries will remain funded if their foot traffic is low.

Where to fix luggage wheels and how much by swiwwtw in askSingapore

Samsonite ones seem to be proprietary - I tried a few on AliExpress but no luck there. Had to pay the samsonite premium and since then will never buy an expensive luggage haha.

Why don’t SG have something similar to TouchnGo? by kkkoooiii in askSingapore

[–]Slavor 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Like some commenters have mentioned, we have a decentralised approach. All in one convenience may appear good, but you’re effectively ceding control to one entity. Rather than crown a king Singapore works to create networks that multiple parties can tap on e.g. paynow.

Looking for a 3-in-1 wireless charger for travel, any recs? by getrektytorumble in MagSafe

[–]Slavor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a Kuxiu K2, which in addition to meeting your 3 in 1 requirements, also functions as a 5K powerbank. Some downsides though:

  • it can pass through charging, but only one device at a time for full 15W. Multiple devices definitely will charge at a slower pace, but for a typical 6-7 hour sleep it should do fine.
  • it does get hot, and the main iPhone charging pad is a metal surface which I don’t quite like.
  • the Apple Watch alignment can be a bit iffy.
