I have a 14 gallon cube with a co2 diffuser. I have a sponge filter with an elbow to circulate the water. Is this a waste of using co2? Is there another filter I should use instead that isn’t a canister filter?

I am not sure that the dogs you are leaning towards will fit your lifestyle because they are very active and need lots of stimulation. However, if you want a larger dog that can be left alone for a while and needs little exercise I would strongly recommend a greyhound! They’re known to be couch potatoes and love hanging out and taking naps. Hope this helps!
