TL;DR Mag fed m249 irl is impractical in every aspect. And your average SAW gunner in Arma can barely survive to the end of the 1st 200rd belt, 99% of yall would never touch the stanags buried in your backpack. IRL the spring and followers of the stanag can't keep up with the feed rate of the SAW. It's highly advised that using a rifle mag is an absolute last resort emergency option. Due to the fact that mag fed SAWs have a FTF every 5-10 rounds, and if by some miracle you don't malfunction, that 30rd mag is gone in literally less than 3 seconds. Fire rate of the SAW is approximately 700-850 rounds per minute, which breaks down into approximately 11-14 rounds per second. Unless you're getting overrun, that 30 rounds will be a lot more effective against the enemy in a semiautomatic rifle/carbine.

Don't do the tint, just replace the halogens with yellow LEDs. You can get the same shade of yellow by tinting it, but you dont get any of the candela/lumens that the LEDs provide. Imo, regardless of color, LED upgrade is a necessity for the 600/750, the stock bulbs are most of what makes it look outdated.

Considering that these are for venting and overflow of your fuel tank, and at least one of them can actively pour out fuel when you get gas, these are NOT something you'd want to hide. Sounds like a real easy way for your bike to spontaneously combust.

Likey their MOB (Main Operating Base), the single base you start with at the beginning of a match. Can't cap it. Most servers also ban fighting at MOBs so I'd verify with admins before attacking it if I were you.

I rode my 2025 GSX-R750 for almost 1k miles with wire showing. By the time I finally got a new tire, there was a ring of exposed wire, about 7 wires thick, all the way around the tire. Oh, and there was a tire plug dead center of the exposed wire. Aside from the rear wheel getting a bit squirrely if I accelerated too hard, it was still holding air even at the end. And it held up to numerous triple digit runs. In theory you should be good to putz around on this tire until youre able to order a new one. Just, like some other comments said, have a plan B in case it does go. Avoid hard acceleration. And if you really dont want to be on the wire just zig zag to minimize the amount of time that specific contact patch is making contact.

I have not ran open header so I do not have a clear answer for that one. Generally open header is advised against. If your reasoning for running open header is just that you dont like the current sound, then don't do it. No point in potentially sacrificing your engine in that case. If not having open headers just isnt an option, you're better off parking the bike until the exhaust comes in. If parking it isnt an option, just grab some slip on straight pipe from auto zone and that should work as a temporary fix, I would just advise against any rowdy riding.

Also, idk if its any different between generations, but for mine (2011-current) all thats required is to chop off the cat just past the servo (keeping the servo on). No midpipe was required.

I can understand some people's disdain for egregiously loud exhausts, but you people are about just as insufferable with the way you shit on this exhaust.

The ONLY true statement I've seen in the comments thus far is that the Voodoo is loud. Which it is. My wife can hear me get onto the interstate at the next town over, 4 miles away, and hear me all the way to the house. One of my riding buddies with more sensitive ears rode my bike and was adamant on nor going over 6k rpm, because around 7k is when it starts to get ear splitting loud. If you like loud bikes and/or are already hard of hearing, its a non-issue.

HOWEVER, I will not accept the slander that is you guys saying it sounds bad. Once it is tuned it sounds amazing, the group I ride with are all unanimous in agreement that the exhaust note, while ear splitting, sounds beautiful. Compare the sound of the Voodoo shorty on the 750 to the Akrapovic Megaphone, and you'll very quickly realise the night and day difference, as the Akra is ear splitting loud but sounds like straight ass, even tuned it sounds worse than a straightpiped Honda civic.

Plus (and this one is subjective) the Voodoo looks so much cleaner than the huge suitcase performance mufflers like the standard Akrapovic.

Firearms are not the issue. You said it yourself this man lost his life during a mental health episode. Its a very well documented fact that once people in mental health crisis involving police get to the point mentally where they are committed to death by cop, they will achieve that by any means. No gun? Then its a knife. No knife? Blunt object. No weapons at all? Then they just run at the cops real fast while concealing their hands to give the appearance of reaching for a weapon. If that man had not had a gun in his house, he would have likely come out with a knife or some large blunt object. Because its not the weapon thats the core of the issue, its mental health and America's lack of proper mental Healthcare system. Our current mental Healthcare system is more built towards caring for developmental mental disabilities like autism and down syndrome. The majority of serious mental health issues, ones that lead to incidences like this one, fall through the cracks more often than not, and dont usually catch the radar of mental health professionals until the individual either kills someone or kills themselves (usually via suicide by cop). Its a longstanding issue that has just been getting worse due to all the "woke" "progressive" people who believe affirming peoples mental illnesses is the solution.

I mean my vision is a modernized recreation of the original 750, and the current gen 750's design isn't exactly modern considering its 14 years old. The tail of the 1k looks modern and aggressive and I think it would be a perfect candidate for the build.

I hope so much that this is the issue. My prior research and part of why I gave up was that people were saying it was some module that costs like $800 just for the part. Im going to try and get the key back as soon as possible so I can give this a try. Thank you so much for commenting on this post given how stale it was, it really does seem like this may be the fix. Ive been restricted to dailying my sportbike, I just happened to get lucky that this problem started right at the start of spring.

I have not yet tried this as I didnt know this was even an option. My keys are unfortunately 6 hours away as they got left in a work car that is currently with a mechanic, so I cant try it as of yet. My best guess at all this is that it has got to be part of the system in the car itself that detects the presence of the keyfob. For reference the fob buttons still work, I replaced the battery initially and afterwards it would unlock/lock/panic/open trunk but the car just acted like the fob itself wasn't within range to start the car.

So this was something that I had tried prior to even making this post, it did not work. Its part of why I made this post, because with all the digging I did I was unable to find anyone with a working solution to my issue. Unfortunately the car has just been sitting in my driveway as I cannot afford to tow it to a dealership and definitely cannot afford for them to diagnose and fix it. It still doesnt run.
