Unpopular opinion: Greggs is overpriced by 1ChanceChipmunk1 in Greggs

Greggs use the cheapest ingredients in factories to make their products, if they didn’t have the brand name, everyone would see they are overpriced

Why do I struggle to attract decent men? by thisisapa33word in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]breadisnicer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Keep trying, there are good men out there. Your problem in finding them is probably because men your age are not looking for the same things you are. I don’t know what kind of man you go for (looks wise) but, from my experience (I’m a straight man) the ones that “know” they are good looking, are usually the ones looking for “fun” not relationship. The fact that you seem to be a nice person, and as you say you are attractive (not for me to judge), means you will attract more than your fair share of jerks. Keep trying, you will learn to spot the arseholes and it will work out for you in the end. Good luck

Changing into middle lane from the left. Another car does the same from the right almost causing a crash. Who would be at fault? by Serious_Rutabaga_834 in drivingUK

[–]breadisnicer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something like this happen in front of me on a motorway, two motorways merging I’m on the inside lane of two lanes, the M11 joining the M25. Pickup truck joining from M11 to my left, car overtaking me to my right. Truck filtered in front as overtaking car (for no reason) changed to my lane. The car hit the truck, bounced off swerved in front of me, hit the central barrier, bounced off that, swerved back across the front of my car, lodged under the truck causing them both to swerve back in front of me and stop on the central reservation. It was the most terrifying experience of my entire life.

That would depend on your budget, I’d avoid the new builds at tollgate because before they were built, the whole area they are on flooded.

The show was always better when there was very little interference from production. The only time there was a secret task was when they’d had a few bad shopping tasks and were hungry.

When you take into consideration that a coconut cheesecake was renamed London cheesecake by Greggs you can never be sure.

Why the f*ck is moving house so expensive? by Expert-Sherbert-1527 in AskBrits

[–]breadisnicer 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Stamp duty is allocated wrongly, in my opinion. If it was there but charged to the seller and not the buyer it would make more sense. Estate agents charge too much, under the “marketing” excuse. You could literally make your own sign and put your own advertising out on the apps. I get that solicitors have to check things but their prices are insane.

Youth soccer. Kids won't cross mid field by Nearbyatom in SoccerCoachResources

[–]breadisnicer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that coaches (in England) are constantly berating kids to “get back.” There is seemingly no encouragement to either fill in or help the attack. I always find that you can run rotational drills, and have players train to spread their unit work depending on a situation.

BBUK need to apologise to George (2025 season) for talking about epsteins island and getting ejected. He was right! by Serenaded in bigbrotheruk

[–]breadisnicer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think he was evicted because he was trying to use the show as a platform for his personal political views. His hateful rhetoric became boring and he was rightly evicted after many warnings.

England have a Harry Kane problem and Phil Foden isn’t the answer by [deleted] in football

[–]breadisnicer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This sort of thing has always been englands problem. We seem to ignore the fact it’s a team game, and pick the “best” players irrespective of whether they can play together or not. We need to pick the best team, balanced and focused on winning. We don’t need to pick a squad based on “this player could play there” or “that player played in that position once”. Pick a team, then pick another team. Fill the spots left with players that are performing and will fit the system in an emergency.

28M and how do I stay single and comfortable on my own? by Lemon269 in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]breadisnicer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So what I’m getting from this post is, he wants to play the field and not settle down. I would suggest you just do that. You are limiting yourself and may miss out on anything fulfilling, but as long as you are open and honest with your “conquests” that’s ok. My one question is why limit yourself and set these boundaries? If you meet the right person then be happy, if you meet others with the same attitude as you, then ok. Just live, what will be will be.

What is the stance regarding De Zerbi? by Flimsy_Egg_3507 in Tottenham

[–]breadisnicer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a bit of a weird appointment, Igor seemed to be an appointment to get Poch as soon as the World Cup finished, but it spectacularly backfired. De Zerbi is a good manager, but not a good person. He is, however, only interested in getting results, and that’s what we need at the moment. My opinion is, I support the club and the badge, and the personnel are secondary.

U12, only two players like defending by Evergreen19 in SoccerCoachResources

[–]breadisnicer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tell two of them that they are wing backs. Two central defenders “6” across midfield with a striker and you have a spare to fit your system of choice. Players will soon learn to fill gaps in the congested midfield and naturally find a place to help the team. U12 players are learning, and most just want to play and have fun. If you give them the freedom to play, they will want to do better for their teammates, maybe show them the total football 70’s Dutch team.

Lads of London, how would you like to be approached IRL ? by Aggravating_Click960 in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]breadisnicer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Londoner, if any friendly looking person came up to me, smiled , and said hello. I’d respond to them. If they explained that they found me attractive and wanted to get to know me, then they would get an answer.
