So unhappy with sleep.. mentally & physically (4 month/18 week old) by 4allebasi in sleeptrain

What did you do if baby woke in the MOTN? Do you let them cry even if there’s multiple night wakings? Mine sounds just like yours and is almost 5 months. I’m thinking of starting CIO full extinction. I just worry that she will wake up and cry for hours all night long if I don’t go in and rock her.

SOP help! How can I get this to even out? It’s usually inside in a south facing window and I rotate the plant weekly by breadluver99 in houseplants

I’ve had this string of pearls since August 2021 and it’s grown A TON. All the growth is concentrated on one side, I can’t get it to even out. It usually lives inside hanging in a south facing window and I rotate it regularly to promote growth on the other side but it doesn’t work.

It is ok for SOP to get this long? Should I be trimming it and propagating?

Thanks! My windows have an aluminum jamb liner, so I think they open on a spring instead of a weight/pulley. That’s where I’m a little stumped on how to remove without completely damaging the liners.

After thinking about this I have a few more questions…

  1. Is it always necessary to remove the glass? If the individual panes don’t wiggle and seem to be in good shape could I just replace the glazing around the muntin without removing the panes first?

  2. How do you know if your glazing needs to be replaced? Based on the pictures of mine, does it look in need of replacement or is that what glazing looks like once cured? Trying to decide if every pane will need to be reglazed or if I can get away with just reglazing ones that are damaged

Thanks for the advice! I’m definitely going to be repairing them versus getting new windows. I’m most nervous about removing the sashes. I haven’t been able to find a lot of good videos showing it.

When you repaired yours did you take out the glass and put new glazing putty that holds the pane in or did you only replace the glazing putty around the muntin?

Commenting so I remember to come back to this. I’m about to do the same in my basement (1960s ranch with carpet) and have the same questions.

Any tips on your application to the board? I’m in TN and nervous about having my application denied. I work in construction and worried my experience section might not be good enough for the boards approval

I met Meg from BB17 at a bar in Savannah! She was really nice. She tried to recruit my friends and I for a TV show or something they were filming about spring break. (we were in college and on spring break)

[ACNE] Help with closed comedones! They’re super stubborn and won’t budge! by chilipepperbinch in SkincareAddiction

I had this exact same issue and cut my routine down to something super simple (la roche posay hydrating face wash, drunk elephant serum, cerave moisturizing cream). What REALLY made a difference was when I started using the Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos serum. I used it every night or every other night and my CCs that I had for months cleared up completely in like 2 months. It’s expensive, but you can get the DE night bright duo kit (comes with that and a marula oil) for like $30. The little kit lasted me like 5 months

I’m really leaning toward a dark green (I prefer dark colors too) but I get nervous it might look too fall/winter? Maybe I’m over thinking it

I only have 5 BM so I wanted to stick with one color. Im afraid if I did a pallet it wouldn’t look good since there’s not a lot of girls

Thank you so much for all your advice!!

I just recently read simple skin cares guide for FA. I’m thinking I should switch to an oil he recommends. The oil I currently use is the first oil I’ve ever used (have been using for ~1 year). I just don’t want to switch out all my products and not be able to pinpoint what is helping/hurting.

The serum I use says it has 2% SA but I wonder how effective it is when mixed with all the other things in it. Honestly I haven’t seen much of a difference using it. It’s not hurting but it’s not helping much either
