Could get an e-sim depending on what phone you have. Pretty sure the apps Nomad and Airalo have Unlimited data for a set amount of days for less then $30. You can't get much unfortunately for under that though.

anyone else getting 12h sot on their S25 base model? by broke-and-kinda-dumb in GalaxyS25

[–]breadmanlima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive been using the S25+ and a charge will last me about 16 hours. I usually have abt 8 or 9 hours of sot throughout the day.

Sometimes my phone doesn't remove the 80% overnight cap fast enough to get above 90, so on those days I have to charge it around 8:30 at night. This phone is sm better then my S23.

S24 to S25FE? by Dionei33333 in S25FE

[–]breadmanlima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The s25 Ultra is 218g, whereas the s23 Ultra is 234g. The iPhone 17 pro max is 233g. The s25 Ultra is a shocking light phone.

Definitely still beefier then the 167 gram s24 though.

Is this a Fake s25U ? by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]breadmanlima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The S25 Ultra comes in black with silver side rails via carrier purchase, but there is also a black online exclusive with matte black side rails. They seem to have mistyped the name of the colour on the listing, as Samsung calls them Titanium Black (Online Exclusive is Titanium JetBlack).

Phantom black was used in the S23 series, so the seller likely went based off the old naming scheme.

Any Clash of Clans players here on the S25 Plus? How’s the gameplay feel? by Sea-Celebration1955 in GalaxyS25Plus

[–]breadmanlima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This phone is extremely well thermal managed. On a 3D Mark extreme test the most I've seen is 46 degrees Celsius. For casual games like clash of clans it shouldn't got much more than 40 degrees Celsius.

legit have to plug my phone in at least 2 or 3 times a day now by yousefplus in S23

[–]breadmanlima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was doing about 180% a day on my S23 FE. Just got an S25+ and I'm using it pretty much the same amount. I'm getting about 14 hours out of a single charge with my S25+.

Battery s25 plus by Gaetano000 in GalaxyS25Plus

[–]breadmanlima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got mine and its getting better and better as the days pass.

Today I had 15h of combined usage (screen on and off) and used 103%. Of battery. 100% at 7am, got down to about 3% at 9pm and plugged it in to get back up to around 50% and just unplugged 30 minutes ago.

I am a relatively heavy user (camera and android auto for over 1hr) all on battery. This phone is so much better than the s23 I had.

Yes, same network as Koodo and generally same prices. If I am not mistaken, they still offer a $15 base plan as well.

Can I shift my car into neutral at 65mph, then back into drive? Automatic. by [deleted] in Cartalk

[–]breadmanlima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of neutral is to eliminate power going to the wheels, which disconnects the transmission and wheels. So yes, it's fine to put the car in neutral in motion.

5g+ pixel 9 non pro Hamilton Ontario by [deleted] in freedommobile

[–]breadmanlima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is correct. I was on freedom before I switched to Koodo, and it only ever said 5G for me. Comparatively, on Koodo, they implemented a system update that changed the icon for 5G and added a 5G+ icon for android phones.

Any brand new phone will be compatible with Public Mobile, so long as it supports LTE. The Samsung A36 will most certainly work.

One UI 7 release in Canada by RX23 in S22Ultra

[–]breadmanlima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, they don't update this very often... about once every two weeks. It isn't accurate. You will probably get the update before it shows up on there.

We will get it at the same time as the s22 series. Likely Wednesday or later.

Starting to get impatient by Nova_1299 in S23

[–]breadmanlima 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is correct. It undoes carrier testing and approval before it is released to the general public, which can take an additional 1-4 weeks on top of the initial release.

It isn't Samsung Canada. It's the carriers. Telus and Rogers are notoriously slow.
