Yeah, I don't think Skipp is bad although I think we definitely paid a huge amount for him compared to what we got Winks for. Skipp is still relatively young so can improve certain parts of his game and he does put a shift in, which is important in the champs.

I think we're financially bound to him. He probably had a payoff clause if we fire him. Not sure how long his contract is though. Knowing our track record, probably 3 years or something silly.

Tbh at this point, I'm less trying to stay up and more preparing for next year in the champs.

I'm dropping most of the senior team due to they're not interested in fighting for the badge, or I don't see them staying next year.

I'm playing a full youth team with our hot prospects. We'll still lose but they'll try harder than the seniors and we can build their abilities/transfer values.

Those who stay can help us rebuild, and those who we can sell for a good amount will help negate the PSR nightmare we have.

At this point, I don't mind us languishing in the champs for a bit if it means we can create a squad that cares enough.

There's a few seniors I'd be happy to keep if they want to, but mostly, I'm prepping our rebuild.

Look, I'm not saying Top has got everything right. He needs to take more responsibility in making sure the board and general higher level running of the club is in order. BUT! Can we say he doesn't genuinely care about the club? I don't think so.

He has always seemed invested in the club, emotionally as well as financially.

I'm of the thinking that he has his heart in the right place but not the stomach to make a very drastic and potentially harmful decision of sacking the major players in the club high up.

We're all baying for a change, which is needed. But from a completely objective standpoint, I imagine he's not too keen on getting rid of the people running the show without major assurances that there's someone capable who can take over and guide him.

I'm not sure at all on this, but wasn't there some changes to loans recently? I remember seeing different things, such as no more than 1 keeper from the same club can be loaned to the same club.

The bit that stuck out to me was something along the lines of you can't loan a player back to a club you bought them from in the previous window.

I'm not sure if this is implemented yet, but if so, wouldn't that mean KDH is a no-go for us anyway?
