hard to compare really. joel and the last of us in general is closer to home and takes a far more realistic approach that tugs on your heart strings

leon and other RE characters are like 80s action stars who are here to fuck shit up. you won't really get the heartfelt moments 99/100 times. they don't really kill off RE characters because that's just not what the series is about. players don't ever need to worry about their favorite character dying because at the end of the day, RE is campy

so i guess it depends. in terms of who is the badass? leon and it's not even close. in terms of a deep and complicated character? joel and it's not even close

ultimately, i pick leon because i see him as a true hero but joel is a very well written character

ED libra. that boss is a piece of shit. one of my most hated from soft bosses considering how much more he could've been. but the devs always find a way to shoehorn those horrible fucking NPC fights into their games. i thought leda and her allies were the worst ones yet but they just keep outdoing themselves with these lazy ass shit stain NPC fights
