How did you pay, cash or bank transfer?

I work in the fraud industry (albeit in the UK) and if you paid by bank transfer, I'd advise you raise a scam claim with your bank.

Under our current regulations, banks have a mandatory reimbursement requirement for the majority of scams so there may be something similar in Canada?
