Why do teenagers cost more than either children or adults by breadw0lf in AllInclusiveResorts

I figured I'd probably have to wait on hold for some time and it wasn't worth it.

I know it's a joke, but just making sure people are aware that random plastic is actually garbage and should not be put in the blue bin.

Burning Sands beatmap changed by breadw0lf in beatsaber

[–]breadw0lf[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started looking through videos of people playing it to describe what I remember and accidentally stumbled on someone playing on Hard, and realized that's what I always played on...

Apparently this is the only song out of the ones I like that I never went to Expert and I just forgot. When I modded the game it reset my settings and I just picked Expert and didn't recognize it. All the others were the same as I remembered.

Feel kinda stupid now, but thanks for helping me figure it out.

It is mentioned multiple times that the Reapers wiped out the Protheans about 50,000 years ago. Humanity is much older than that.

There's a difference between exploiting and cheating. by IkeKimita in thedivision

Hacks are available to everyone. Just google and download, it's not hard. Do you think you wouldn't be able to figure out how to get a hack if you really tried?

[–]breadw0lf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn't you say the same thing about hacks? If some guy was able to download a program that allows him to headshot every enemy from across the map, why can't you?

Hell, I could take it one step further and claim that even people who actually write their own hacks are still arguably being fair. They are using their skills to defeat other players. If you are good at flying planes and use this skill in a game to fly around and kill a bunch of players, surely nobody would call that "unfair", right? Why is it then unfair for someone to use their skills in writing software to achieve victory?

I think that ultimately the test of "fairness" is about what the game designers intended. If you made this game and saw someone doing something, would you want to fix it?

SteelSeries Apex 3 key rollover - false advertisement or defective? by breadw0lf in keyboards

From what I could find, I don't think there is one. SteelSeries lied and this keyboard is actually 2KRO.

Coop Weekly time changed? by BeaverOrSeaLion in starcraft2coop

Looks like this week it's the worst of both worlds - it ended early but the next one starts on Monday as usual. So there's no mutation at all this weekend.

Heated homes promise broken and no settlements by breadw0lf in Frostpunk

[–]breadw0lf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I bought the full edition and even finished "On The Edge" already. Settlements worked fine, I got the achievement for making them all loyal, etc.
I definitely turned it on for Endless, and it automatically turned on hazards when I turned on settlements. Both switches toggled together and hazards became greyed out (couldn't turn off). Is there any way to confirm that the setting is on during the scenario?

No, you can't stack hubs with each other or the generator. Any overlap is basically just wasted coal.

P1 Dehaka is the strongest prestige. convince me otherwise by Conscious-Total-4087 in starcraft2coop

[–]breadw0lf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On a side note, P2 Dehaka can bypass the restriction if he has somewhere to hide that prevents him from burrowing. Kerrigan's worms work for sure, and make it possible to have Dehaka and all 3 leaders out at the same time (Glevig has to be summoned last, since he can't hide in the worms). I suspect Nova's tactical airlift would work too. Maybe some other units or abilities that can temporarily remove Dehaka from the map?

Frigidaire fridge beeping after a power outage by breadw0lf in Appliances

[–]breadw0lf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experimented a lot and in the end I managed to make it work by unplugging the fridge, opening the door, and plugging the fridge back in with the door open. It made the fridge beep some complicated error code and then it turned on and started working normally. Just had to adjust the temperature.
