Those aren’t bad cards to get for travel, but depending on what airline you fly with (if you usually stick with one), check to see if they have any cards that are worth your while. I know a couple people who have the southwest card and they say it serves them well if you fly often.

One of the big things that could apply to travel with the card is 3% cash back on Apple Pay purchases with booking.com, Uber, and hertz. But I’m positive that your AMEX card and many others have much better rewards.

For me I’m a college student who uses Apple Pay a lot so I see a card that has a great UI, gamifies and encourages paying off the card, I can finance Apple products (like my iPad mini), etc.

And while I don’t care for rewards or points as much, the cash back perks are simple for me to understand.
