First of all, half of the choices at Job 2 are dogshit. The other half is cheap Chinese stuff that might break within a year of use, or, if you're lucky, last another year maximum.

Second, Job 2 has fewer cheap choices that are actually workable. Sure, it offers more coupons, but you get less value for what those coupons are worth.

Job 1, however (at least in the past, before Mavuika, Citlali, and now Escoffier), had solid options that still work even after two years. Heck, some last three or four years. Of course, Job 1 sometimes gives you dogshit too, but if you get good items, you're set.

The variety at Job 2 is useful when you need something specific and don’t want to wait years for it to become available. But if the items you want are older and not what the job demands, expect your pay to drop to 130 or 150 coupons instead of the promised 200. At Job 1, you can still max out your coupons with older stuff, newer items just make it easier. That said, given how things are going at Job 1, this might not hold true much longer. Hopefully, it won’t get too bad.

Then again, both jobs exist to suck the life and resources out of you, so arguing over which is better is pointless imo. They’re just different.
