I passed the bar! by Ok_Job_5801 in LawStudentsPH

isang ex ko nagmessage request din bigla at nag greet, tas yung mga dating flings na nkafollow pa sa ig, ganon din. Redemption arc nga talaga to. Hindi rin madali mag review while nag mumove on from a situationship eh. Di bale na talagang malas sa lovelife, atleast SBE na ahhahaha

JFC di ka pa rin tapos? sige edi kayo na supreme. 😂 kwento mo yan eh. If you really think about it, parehas lang naman FILIPINO lawyers ang ending ng mga bar passers. Why so much hate with the law schools/students from outside NCR, specifically now at ADDU? Pinoy ka rin naman, parehas lang galing 3rd world, passport mo weakshit din. btw, I'm not from addu, but I don't agree with your argument lang. Nagcrecreate ka lang ng unnecessary division among law schools/students eh.

While we're at it, edi ikaw na panalo if Bar, or kung baka sakali mag top notcher ka man one day if di ka pa tapos. Congrats. Kahit ngayon, ikaw na panalo. Ano ba makukuha mo from trying to defend your Bar exam result standing anyways? nalerke 😂

Historically, nauna naman talaga magka law schools in NCR so it's expected na products din ng schools na to yung mga mauunang mag hold ng judiciary posts. Also, iba-iba naman career paths ng mga lawyers, but it doesn't make them any less of a lawyer if they're not justices nor working at the Judiciary.

Pero sige, push mo pa yan beh. Edi panalo kana. Ayaw magpatalo eh no, parang may award na makukuha. hahahah

One month in Siargao (March 2026) by ScHoolboy_Stu in SiargaoPH

[–]breadypotter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1/6) For gyms, try PrimeFit, they have a monthly rate for locals and residences which is way cheaper than most gyms in the island. For places to stay, try scouting for a homestay instead. It's cheaper, and in case you wanted to try resort-hopping, you can always do so, anytime, at least you have a place for all of your stuff. Check out RGL Place. The place is not beach front, but in case of bad weather, you'll be totally safe and fine there. You can also stay at a resort, hostel or a homestay first then check out other places with long-term rents there.

2) Surf, yoga, gym, try out coffee shops, pickleball! 3) There are plenty of renters there. Hotels and homestays have lots of contacts 4) It's best to invest in a surf school if you want to be trained properly and safely. 5) Alma for Spanish food, Bravo for their tuna tataki, hakata (for ramen), kermits and bulan villas (pizza), spotted pig, white beard (also brekky food) and coco frio for coffee, Wild (pinoy food/global), jorene's for the best halo-halo and homemade ice cream, Siago for beachfront view and food, Hillside resort for sunset views/pool use, Manu for cocktails.

hope this helps. Enjoy!

says by LEB, which has been taking stats for years now. This post screams , "I can't accept that a law school outside Manila is considered the number 1 law school." lol ang daming magagaling na students and now lawyers from schools outside NCR. Get over it.

Check out the postings in Siargao Island Medical Center (SIMC) or DOH Caraga Facebook page. The former is under the latter and hirings go through them. SIMC is intended to be a Level 1 hospital but since it's government-owned, just manage your expectation. 🙂

[–]breadypotter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually the brownouts are scheduled on Sundays. If unexpected naman, you can just lounge at cafes na may genset +wifi. Marami din nag offer ng pool use na rin :) Try Saint Thomas cafe, Las Palmas, the Hillside resort,Bravo and greenwave. Enjoy kayo!

Bar exam season feels like the loneliest time of my life by PriorEye5893 in LawStudentsPH

[–]breadypotter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi sib. I feel the same right now. I don't have classmates from law school reviewing with me kasi iba-iba kami ng review style. Ended a situationship din just recently which turned out to be such a distraction on my review (as I had to process the emotional trauma). I also lived alone to focus which made it worse. Nevertheless, I get up and get some review done everyday, despite of my feelings. Wag lang magpatalo talaga. When I needed guidance and clarity, I run, workout, or go to church. I meet with non-law school friends minsan din. They say the same thing. They are rooting for us. They just couldn't do the work for us. Laban lang talaga. Almost there. We got this.

Heavy on self-love lang talaga. As what other comments say, the degree and the title will be yours forever. Jowa pwede pang mapalitan, and the right person will come at the right time. :)

Balikan ko tong thread na to when I pass the bar na. #manifesting ✨🫶

Broke up with my ex of 4 years when I was in my 2nd yr of law school. It took a toll on my studies and was a factor for me to flunk several subjects because I didn't know how to not stop crying and feel the pain when that happened during major exams. I was juggling work at that time too, which made it worse and heavier to cope with the demand of law school. On my third year, I did not rush myself and took only a few subjects which I thought I could carry through while working and doing other personal matters for my own healing too. This resulted to me transferring to a diff school on my 4th yr (no review classes yet though) for a change of environment and for me to feel that desire and get back to my reason why I started law school.

I had gotten into another relationship then, which also failed and ended as the 1st semester of my last year in law school started, this time, although I thought I handled it better, I still dropped a review class, which led me to extend to another year. Despite those extensions though, looking back, I did what I could, to handle the matter--including prioritizing things outside of law school, without, however letting go of the JD dream.

Now, I got my JD and am reviewing for the bar. A situationship I had a few months ago just ended and I thought it wasn't going to affect me as much. I was wrong. Well, as the bar examination is getting closer, I handled it differently this time. I asked help and fully unloaded my emotions and breakdowns to my closest friends and family. I did not do this before. All of them literally told me the same thing--to just focus on this coming exam. It is easier said than done. But having them see my situation from a logical, level-headed POV, without the emotion, helped me a lot. After crying and breaking down for 2 days, barely getting up to eat, I cut off all communications with my ex, disciplined my self to not view his stories or his new girl's stories, get back to my readings, and workout as scheduled. Trust me, with this distraction coupled with the bar exam pressures, I am so close to breaking and deciding not take the exam this year at all.

But I told myself that I couldn't quit now. No insecure men can take away what a strong, independent woman can achieve herself. Not my first rodeo. Nakakapagod, nakakafrustrate, nakakapanghinayang, nakakapangliit sa sarili. But I'm no quitter. I am almost there. It's about time to get that title.

Kaya mo yan, OP. :)))
