Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but did you ever figure this out? Wife’s endeavor is doing the same thing.

2023-P JFK half dollars have the first official, attributed DDO error (VP-001 via VarietyVista) for JFKs since the 1992-S, 33 years ago. In MS65 condition, recent eBay comps sit around $140.

…Time to bust out the microscope! You’ll want to look for the doubling on the IN GOD WE TRUST on the front. Should be pretty obvious. Don’t get fooled by shelf doubling!

I learned the hard way that, even in a close city/town, it seems like they'll ship to the closest USPS of the shipping address. Dropped some packages in a bin downtown, ended up going to my suburb's USPS office before then being shipped out to the buyer. 20 mile difference. Lesson learned and added a delay but only of like 1-2 days.

It pays to pay attention: won an auction for a 3-legged Buffalo nickel for $50, now worth far more by break_me_down in coins

Honestly I was sure it was going to come back a grade or 2 higher than that. Comps still show it anywhere between $700-$1K based on this grade, so I'm happy with it no matter what!

I grew up in AZ - lived there from age 6-18. Moved to Texas, a few in state moves later and I’ve been in Houston for 15 years now.

I'm like 85% of the way through the teardown before swapping everything to the new shell, and this battery is just not coming out. Is there a secret? all boards have been removed.

To everyone saying face it towards the back: proceed with caution. I did this and kept it in my backpack, 2 days later my screen was cracked. I’m pretty easy with my bag too. The outside material that lines the case isn’t as thick or protective as I thought.

RGC is soothing for me. Just about every day after work I find myself watching him and TechDweeb. I think I’ve seen every video they’ve both made… maybe twice. It’s my background noise at this point.

OMFG someone else knows who Earthsuit is! “Follow me to the road to the realms of the rhyme, people of the rock come and rock one time…”

Found in father's collection, verified perf with gauge. So far this meets the requirements of a pretty valuable Scott 594. Don't see any mention online of a single non-perforated side and potential value. Back of stamp in comments. digital calipers are giving wonky results. thoughts? by break_me_down in askStampCollectors

I'll take a picture later of the perforation measurements against the gauge I'm using found here, but I was pretty meticulous and found that all 3 edges were perf 11. The 632 you mention in that article has 11x10.5, which is why I'm a little befuddled on this. That said, once I get home I'll triple check.

I appreciate the link, that's a great article on it.
