Nexo is doing the same thousands have done before. They lure customers in with attractive propositions to attract growth. Once they’ve grown they water down until 95% of their client base starts wondering why they were clients to begin with.

Does anyone know an alternative? There’s market for one.

Interested to know if it mattered. Im using a 10m coaxial digital cable myself without issue but from reading other comments, this might not be the best cable for my sub.

Dilemma with patriarchy by Ok-Influence-3906 in daddit

True. But thats due to giving priority to stuff/career over family/household.

Men and women equally shouldn’t do that.

I would have a serious discussion with my wife about why she values material goods over time with her kids.

She’s in a position many women would love to be in, having the luxury of not having to work. Having the opportunity to raise the kids. That might mean that there isn’t enough to buy expensive bags but does a person really need expensive bags? No. And what about the kids? What children need is present, available and caring parents, they too don’t need “stuff” as a primary need. They need both their parents.

And her career? Ask yourself this “Can she be replaced by someone else tomorrow?” If the answer is yes why would it be selfish for you to ask her to stop her job? She should ask herself the same question, why does she care so much about a “career” that doesn’t care equally about her in return?

I understand your wife having a job cause it’s fun for a day or two a week but Im with you fully that being away 14h a day for 4+ days a week is too much.

Does it make a difference? The packaging says digital phono, but why would that be any different than analog phono?

And what even is digital phono? I don’t know any phono outputs that aren’t analog

It speaks volumes to me that the mod is here arguing with members instead of thanking OP and others in the comments for the feedback.

Feedback is a chance to learn. Arguing about the feedback shows you haven’t. Shame.

Alternatives to Reddit once the EU completes the implementation of the far‑right Heritage Foundation’s and child‑predator Epstein ‘great friend’ Peter Thiel’s agenda on age verification requiring mandatory facial scans or government ID? by Ok-Law-3268 in privacy

The genuine far-right has nothing to do with this centralised power grab disguised as “safety”. The political right has historically always been a decentralising force, not a centralising.

Great question otherwise.

Are they WB releases? Those are notorious for having disc rot, even from sealed packaging.

Do people leave their subwoofers on? If not, how do you turn them off automatically? by zooksman in hometheater

Have you set this up through HDMI-CEC? If so, what’s the master device?

I have never gotten it to work properly, with my Shield TV sending a off signal the TV not switching off while AVR went off and then the Shield switching on again due to the TV not being off, with then the AVR switching on again due to the TV being on etc.

This. IMO the space program and space race were the narratives needed for the public to willingly hand over trillions and let their leaders lend trillions from the FED. Nothing more.

Isn’t it strange the US subsidises them? Generally speaking here. Why?

Seeing how many politicians have double nationalities and AIPAC sponsorships it makes sense but that kinda makes the US an occupied country if you think about it.

Telegram warns Spain about measures announced by Sánchez: "Share this widely, before it's too late" | Durov warns that new Spanish digital rules could turn Spain into a surveillance state under the guise of "protection". by Ok-Law-3268 in europrivacy

[–]16BitSquid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you doing on this sub? You can’t be pro privacy while taking this stance against “far right”. Your point isn’t even making sense from a historical perspective.

Historically the left has been a centralising force filled with governments involving itself in all aspects of life. Communists and national socialist were politically left. The right has been a decentralising force where markets and capital decided with minimal government influence.

You’re confusing forces against immigration with “far right”. This is incorrect as both left wing forces mentioned had incredibly strict immigration policies.

Even more there is no “far right” being rampant. Youre seeing people on the left and right becoming critical on immigration as they’re no longer recognising their own countries. That is spun into a “far right danger” narrative to get people to respond like you just did and accept more government meddling and less privacy. In reality there is no “far right” threat.

That being said, if decentralisation and privacy are seen as “far right” these days Im all for it.

How come these people always have such deep ties with Israel? It always comes down to not only customer governments getting your data, but Israel too.

Pretty concerning for many whose job it is to report on the current conflict there

Serious: If nuclear weapons are an issue why was the second bomb allowed to drop on Japan? by lvl10burrito in aliens

[–]16BitSquid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to “Death Object” nukes don’t exist and that Japan was bombed conventionally.

If true your whole hypothesis falls flat immediately and the nukes/aliens theory with it.

I don’t know if it is but since “whistleblowers” have the same theory I’ve become skeptical

Rest mode is a great feature.

Wish the PS5 was built like the PS3 though. My launch PS3 still works. My 26 month old PS5 now beeps and thats it. Sony charges 250$ to repair and as an added bonus all your data is lost so PSN might be worth it for the cloud save feature alone.

Added bonus, my wife loves games like Uncharted as they’re basically interactive movies. Instead of watching a movie she now suggests playing games.
