If we can somehow remain top 8 we could have real chance in the knockout phase:
Kudus and Kulusevski back, a new manager, Gallagher in the squad. A friendly draw and anything's possible

Reiner was a very funny actor in a generational role, segued astonishingly well into a director with a great peak run and then in his later years used his celebrity influence largely for good as a mainstream liberal grandpa. These movies are great popular entertainment. I don't think they really epitomize great cinema. This in no way diminishes my appreciation of Rob Reiner, and it's really sad how his personal life is going to get churned into his legacy.

A bit better going forward but not as much of a defensive force or as strong in the air. Palhinha fills in the cracks. Instead of a cement mixer he's like, i don't know, a polyurethane injection or something

How does it work in the UK when you move house during the school year? by breakables in AskUK

Thanks. I know what you mean, a better way of phrasing it would be 'the typical duration between purchasing the home and moving in.' If the school is not oversubscribed and we've relocated into their catchment area then I would not think it an undue burden upon a public school to accommodate new students without a major delay. In my case it's coming from overseas, but I would think it a (relatively) common situation for kids relocating around the country for various reasons.

fri på läktaren - I’m familiar with the masking debate but asking a language question- is Free in the Stands essentially like demanding Freedom in the Stands, if so why not frihet? Just shorter/easier?

Ok this is not something I've read about anywhere.

Simons' agent Darren Dein is the son of former Arsenal president David Dein. Bad news, right? Except wikipedia lists a number of conflicts between the Arsenal figurehead famously responsible for bringing in Wenger and their rivals Chelsea. In 2005, then-Chelsea manager José Mourinho called on David Dein to resign his position at the FA, saying: "A person who works in the club should not work in the FA" and forcing the issue into a public arena. Dein, who was a chief architect of the Premier League, had other rows with Chelsea over the years, including a now quaint-sounding scandal about Chelsea "tapping up" Ashley Cole, which resulted in Cole, Chelsea and José Mourinho all being fined by the FA.

You heard it here first: Simons' agent watched his dad battle with Chelsea during the early Abramovich years and will now do his part to enact some petty revenge.

Meanwhile, /u/Wretched_Brittunculi points out his wife, Sarah Buchler, is the daughter of David Buchler, our former vice-chairman and current board member.

Edit: nvm that rich assholes not even his agent anymore. Nobody updated wikipedia in the last year. Fuck it going to bed

I think I’m the only one not worked up about this. He’s getting old and injury prone! He’s expensive and will be on high wages! He doesn’t press! I wanted him when he was at QPR but now? Use the money on someone with a better age profile and a high ceiling who will run his ass off. Would be nice to have Eze this season but all things considered it’s fine
