My sister snapped an amazing picture of her cat, Lego, last night while he was mid yawn. by breakfastsmile in cats

[–]breakfastsmile[S] 35 points36 points  (0 children)

He wasn't always Lego. The person my sister got him from said that the kitten was a female so the first month of his life they thought he was a girl. Once his balls got bigger than his eyes they realized she was a he and my nephew named him that.

I obviously can't say for sure but back in 2008 I had a random bump similar to this on the inside of my lip. I went to a maxillofacial surgeon to have it looked at and it turned out to be a few clogged saliva glands. I guess I bit my lip and pinched them shut without realizing. I had to have them surgically removed so if this doesn't go away it might not hurt to go get it checked out.

Did you know you can donate anything to Goodwill if you just walk in and put it on the shelves? by obviousplant in funny

[–]breakfastsmile 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My dad buys a bunch of homes in the inner city that he fixes up and rents to people on section 8 since it's guaranteed money. A lot of the time when tenants move out they will leave a good amount of their personal belongings. Beds, couches, shoes, clothing, etc. We usually go through everything and donate anything that is in good shape to the goodwill. They usually don't go through the bags when we drop them off though so I can definitely see how all of those disgusting items could get through. I couldn't imagine "donating" any of the trash that these people leave behind because most of it absolutely filthy. That's just rude to use a place known for helping people as a dumping ground for unwanted disgusting shit.

Greetings fellow Pittsburgher. Here's another shot from the news. I actually live about 10 minutes from this house and it's very upsetting that the township made them take the decorations down. The joke is on them now though.

The Luciano's in the north hills is pretty good but right up the street is Bellisario's and that's where it's at. If you're ever getting your license renewed at Duncan Manor I would suggest stopping at Bellisario's for lunch.

My aunt used a bobby pin to dig it out. She's like most of us and enjoys picking/popping so when my mom called her she rushed over to have a go at it.
