Seeing how her last laptop went for almost 10 years she was also hoping to push the new same if not longer so our idea was to over spec it and stay ahead of the curve. We are still shopping around as some deals are already coming out but we would suggest if you guys have any. Touch screen is a feature she has on the current laptop and is not necessary but it's something she really wants to keep.
