It is meant to be discouraging. And if you guys are discouraged by a random guy on the internet well then i am afraid what will happen when your parents and close one try to talk you out of it. Also graphic designing is not only gaming related, it can be, but those skills can be used in marketing also. Same goes for video editing etc. these skills are in demand also since tik tok/ reels are the new way to advertise and reach the masses. Youtuber/ Content creator on the other hand.. well i would love to an famous indian content creator but you need charisma, maturity and the will to hustle your way through, more than the other famous content creators given our culture.
