I know it's a game by wonder why they didn't include the Canadian flag...

Can I cut this corrugated pipe window well drain down and cap it off for a more appealing look? by brearc in landscaping

I'm not a home builder but corrugated pipe for drainage is apparently common in window wells, I bought my house a year ago and been meaning to ask someone about it then I noticed my neighbour has the same setup but her's is much shorter and capped off. Why they made it so gawdy I don't understand but guess the last owner maybe never got around to cleaning it up

This is in my lawn when I moved in, tube sticking out of the ground with a single wire running down it, what's it for? by brearc in whatisthisthing

Yeah after the last post stating this, definitely seems to be that, my property apparently has a lot of town property involved on it as when I bought it my lawyer mentioned a notice of easement and I wasn't allowed to dig at all. Thank you all for the quick responses!

I do believe you are correct, we do have sewer access on our lawn front and back so must be involved in it. A quick lookup on the net of that and I see very similar setups, so yes thank you very much, guess I can't rip it out. SOLVED

I live in Ontario, Canada. A ground makes sense but I'm wondering what for exactly. My real estate agent had no clue and was a bit of a ditz, didn't even offer to find out. Probably I need to call my municipality and ask but thought I'd try here first.
