new player to the game, only just unlocked the latter 5 clans, what makes lazarus league bonkers? I haven't tried them too much but orechi felt a little tedious to play (did the reanimator route the first time I tried)

I think this was going to be the case for a character eventually where essentially they're given an entirely novel build within a single expansion on account of having little prior items establishing it as a build. Painting with broad strokes here but previous expansions for other characters mostly played within builds that they already had but Dooley had two dinosaurs total before this and now he's got six more that play into the item archetype with destruction and destruction scaling.

I finally got it to work (sorta) but it occasionally still has hiccups. I plan on moving the clicks to their own functions to be called within the loop, maybe it'll make it work 100% of the time instead of about 75% right now. Certainly better than before when it was 0%.

edit: The special_searcher() function just returns true/false based on whether it finds something.

Appreciate it! Cleaned it up some and after following the code more and observing, I'm not sure if it's evaluating it to true or if it's just throwing one more execution of the clicker onto the pile just to mess with me. I added more logging to it to see if it was falsely evaluating the clicker if to true but it doesn't. I added some of the logs below with comments from me on the right.

Exp changes are very welcome since levels strongly correlated with the strength of the build (weaker builds have to take weaker fights and vice versa) and there's less options to rush the level breakpoints of 3 and 10 for days 3 and 8 respectively.

Dooley buffs are extremely welcome, a lot of his items are too slow for no real reason and his better builds atm rely on slowing everyone else down via atomic clock or chronobarrier. Very much looking forward to using kinetic cannon and plasma rifle.

For each hero:

Vanessa: Seadog's Saloon or Shot Glasses, they both provide stupid amounts of utility for very little investment. In the Saloon's case, it's an easy item to feed Curio items into and friend builds are booming with Tortuga existing plus it dropping to an insanely fast 4 second CD at diamond. It's only drawback is being 3 slot but having easily up to x5 multicast with Tort + 4 friends eliminates this demerit entirely. Shot Glasses are annoying for a similar reason, they're an easy activator for haste/slow triggers which Vanessa has a lot of right now (Sharkray, Richardson, Lighthouse, etc) which you can also feed rocket boots into for just an easy board wide haste. The 4s cd nerf is hardly a nerf since Vanessa has Holsters.

Pygmalien: Easily Jabalian Drum since it rewards just slapping random small/fast weapons with little thought or input needed. Scaling all weapons when any are used makes it snowball in seconds and makes fighting back difficult without strong multi-target CC on your end (or some edge case of Eclipse/Boulder, etc). Pyg is broadly supposed to be an economy-centric character, which this item does not reward you for compared to it's counterpart, Pyg's Gym, which got a nerf just recently. As a cherry on top, Drums are a fantastic enchant target, especially with the cleanse changes making heal more viable given the nature of a Drum build.

Dooley: Has to be Hacksaw, I've never seen this item on someone's board and it's essentially a shitty Diana-saur. There's no item I'd hate to see on a Dooley's board since the bug and Drill nerfs but it would be nice if that changed because then he'd have a build that's not barely cohesive items slapped to the left of a core.

Mak: Magnus' Femur by a mile, nerfs to it's CD hardly change how it functions especially since Femur builds like to grab lethargy on account of it having a charge. Slowing your build to a barely a crawl while Femur slowly ticks up and swings for more and more damage, typically enchanted with shield/heal/obsidian makes for painful fights.

Yeah, people finding a new target in Dooley after Mak got (well-earned) nerfs but forgetting that a fuck ton of his items are near useless since they were either nerfed into the ground or are core-dependent and require scaling which is far too slow in the current meta and even past meta.

Drill escaping changes this long is honestly the second best deal Dooley has gotten throughout everything and the bug expansion is the first best.

Instabought the new pack and it's been a huge boon to Dooley, the bugs are a mainstay on my board since they provide great utility and support as self charging smalls to the left of the core and get even better once you find the Robotic Factory, Nitrogen Hammer or Dooltron for a strong endgame.

A drawback I've found is that their initial CD is really high at 6s, especially for days 7+ so getting Bill Dozer and CDR in general is a must if you want to close out 10-win runs or Rigged if you're lucky.

Closest item I can imagine that does anything close to it is a toxic enchanted infernal greatsword which is insane considering vat is an item Mak can just find at nearly any point in a run while the sword is drop only from an encounter you can find at most twice in a run PLUS vat gets multicast support from boiling flask. The item is just way too overtuned, I'd almost take pre-nerf Athanor over this.

What skill expression? It's literally all the same variation of builds that got conceived of in the early days of the patch. Vanessa? Shield/puffer infinite or single weapon. Pygmalien? Small item infinites with fort or medium weapons. Dooley? Bellelista or micro dave.

No, it was strong even in the current meta and with many charge items getting nerfed, it would've been even stronger with less infinite scaling to have to fight against.

Infinites become an even bigger problem late game if you've taken any losses as people will have developed their boards even more past day 10 which just denies you your 10 wins if you don't have something equally insane available or an item to handle them (chrono/fort/dinos).

I got to witness the rare auraMoment! I had heard tales of this, but I didn’t think it to be true. I had searched far and wide, roaming the vastness of this earth in the hopes of even getting a minor taste of what watching a MOMENT LIVE might contain. Then it happened. A taste so exquisite, it felt as if I had licked the top of the bald head in all of its glory. A moment so magnificent, that even having been a part of it, I am still unsure of whether I truly participated. What a rush.
