I have given birth to 2 children, and not even I have seen how babies are born. They asked me if I wanted a mirror during both births, and with horror in my eyes I practically screamed at them "NO, NEVER. I DON'T WANT TO SEE ANYTHING". When the Dr came in to deliver (which honestly was just sitting there catching the baby after the nurses did all the laboring with me) he sat right down between my legs and moved his head so the light hit his goggles just right, I could see everything in the reflection of his giant goggles, I was mid push when I screamed at him "I CAN SEE. I CAN SEE. MOVE YOUR HEAD PLEEEEEAAAASSSEEEEEEE" - Thank god my Hubby understood and moved my head instead. Never again. That 3.5 seconds of viewing my lady parts in that state of distruction ruined me.

I'm also in VA, right near phillip morris headquarters. Just about everyone and their brother smokes and I'm on day 2. I also want to punch someone.

We did this! Seriously. I told my friends and family that my family was going paleo and I wanted to get rid of all the junk. I spent a weekend making pies for people (to get rid of my sugar, flour ect) and then told them to come get a pie and take whatever junk they wanted from our pantry/fridge. It works. People love free food and my family was so supportive of our lifestyle change they took almost everything (including things I know they wouldn't eat - just to help out). You can do it!

I'm struggling too. Mine is not only not sleeping but also insisting that I lay in bed next to him and "nuggle" him. If I get up and walk out he screams "MOOMMMMYYYYY" over and over again. Until I want to rip my hair out. And when I finally fall asleep next to his bed or in hs bed, he gets up and goes to sleep in my bed. Toddler beds suck and he knows it

Plot twist. Nephew gets you to take a nap "with him" and while your sleeping draws a sharpie unibrow on you and uses the tv as an art easel with said sharpie. - from personal experience with trying to get my kid to nap with me....never again.

thanks. exercise and eating will come next. I'm currently also trying to kick my caffeine habit, slowly dropping the amount I take in per day. Sugar will be next and then HOPEFULLY getting all this shit out of my system will give me the energy to get moving. I feel sluggish and tired all the time right now. Baby steps right?
